Great Network Upgrade

Right out of the box, I was content with my purchase. The hardware is not only powerful with its great mesh network, it is also appealing to the eye.
Setup was quick and easy. Took me a few minutes to replace my previous router and extender setup, and I didn't even need to use my computer. I did it all from my tablet.
Speeds are great, and all my devices are working and streaming without any issues.
Again, I am very pleased with this upgrade. A must for a total network home.

Big fan!

To start, I am generally a fan of Netgear and have used their products for several years now.
I am super impressed with the ease of setup and the performance of the Orbi. I replaced a Netgear 7800 router and ex800 extender as I upgraded our home internet to 400mbit down and wanted the best performance in the opposite side of the house and the ex800 was doing just okay.
The Orbi has beat all expectations, with the router and ex800 I was getting about 150 in the room I was trying to improve, with the Orbi I am getting double that (300).

So far the orbi has provided 10% coverage without any drops when walking between the router and satellite

The coverage is great. I don't have to worry about dead zones or switching between networks any more. I should have done this year's so. Get an Orbi!

No more dead spots!

By having 2 Ring camera's and the Ring doorbell, I discovered that my home had 2 dead spots. After messing up with repeaters, I decided to plunge into the depth with the Orbi system. It works very well, I achieve maximal Internet speed and stability on the Ring camera's outside (through the exterior wall).
I am very pleased that Orbi also works with your existing router by enabling the access point mode. That was for me the big YES.
I recommend everybody to use Orbi to ensure a well covered WiFi at home.
