Impressive Performance

Old WIFI network in a two-level condo did not provide good coverage with a WIFI extender. Orbi provides 10 times the speed and complete coverage throughout. Great product! Simple setup.

My first Mesh router!

I bought Orbi from Staple when I had an issue of quality of signals in the second floor using the old Netgear66 (Night Hawk) router. This is my first Mesh router experience and this unit came with two transmitters. Installation using my cellphone was rather convoluted but it worked OK. After installation, I had excellent reception in the second floor as well as in my basement. The internet speed on the main floor was down-load (124 Mbps) and upload (24 Mbps). The router comes with Armor security app which they claim to protect the router from threats but it is very intrusive. So far Armor appears to work well with the router. If you buy a new router, I definitely recommend a Mesh router as it provide a wide area with good quality of signal.

it appears to be a well made unit. for me right now it does have the desired effect. i have a metal building beside the house and i know that is the problem just having trouble finding the right location for this outdoor unit

Functionally, it works great and was easy to add to the Orbi network (I'm using it as a satellite). The only gripe I have is the form factor. It was more designed for setting it outside versus mounting it outside (mounting is possible with the included bracket). I would have liked a more industrial design for wall mounting and an internal power supply.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only took me about 10-15 minutes to hook up this new Orbi wi fi router. Works great and coverage is so much better now in my basement with the satellite
