Trying out the Mesh

I got the mesh wifi system from a relative who no longer needed it. I'm disappointed that I couldn't talk to Netgear Support in trying to set the system up. The satellite does not reach to the farside of my house, for providing connection to my emergency generator. What I did not know is that the generator can only connect to 2.4 ghz. I don't think I have an option with RSR50 system, because the generator does not recognize 5 Ghz. Nor, do I have anyone to explain this to me.

Works great, set up is awful

We’ve been very happy with our Internet so far but the set up was unbelievably difficult. It wasn’t intuitive and there were a lot of technical difficulties throughout the process. When we finally got it to work, only some of our devices connected so we had to start over again to get all of our devices to connect. Since then it’s been great but the set up felt way too laborious for me.
