Orbi Mesh System was simple to install, unlike other reviews I had read. Literally, plug and play. However, when trying to change the network name, things became somewhat wonky. Took a while to get everything to recognize the name change and felt like I had to redo the process a few times before it was accepted. Also, the computer in the location I needed the mesh system to provide a stronger signal to didn't have a stronger signal immediately. I thought the mesh system wasn't delivering. It was late, so I stopped working on it. The next morning, I started the computer again and tested the signal strength. It was unbelievable! Somewhat of a delayed reaction, but since then, everything has been great! Would recommend to anyone needing to boost their signal strength in other parts of their home. In our case, the router/modem are in the basement on one end of the house, and I work in a room upstairs on the other end of the house. Very satisfied!

This is our second Orbi mesh system and it is starting out more stable than the 2200, fingers crossed!

Great Router

Great router. We had a Nighthawk Router before. Our modem needed to be replaced and the updated modem was producing faster speeds than our Nighthawk could service. At the recommendation of a co-worker, I purchased the Orbi. I love the Orbi. It is Nighthawk router

TP-Link DECO M5 - NETGEAR Orbi

I am a former TP-Link DECO M5 customer. I changed to the Orbi Mesh System because I felt like the Orbi's are a better product (I still feel the same since purchasing). The only thing I would like to see NETGEAR improve on is by bringing the Network Optimization tool similar to what TP-Link offers for their app for iPhone

I had this up and running in less than 20 minutes. The satellite is in a separate building 150' from the router and the signal is super strong. No more drop outs
