Have a router and 1 satellite. Seems to be providing great drop-out-free service on main living floor, upstairs bedrooms, and basement find shed rooms. Router is at one end of house. Satellite near other end, connected via cat5 cable. Pretty much plug and play, though I needed to wait for sync to happen. Instructions for hardwire we're a little weak

Easy setup

I have the Orbi over 4 years now. Works very well. I placed the router upstairs master bedroom and one Satellite in the living room down stairs. Coverage very good! I have no problem so far! I also bought 2nd unit for my sister home. It works well for them too.

Hard troubleshoot, Easy monitoring

Hooking up the routers was easy to do but troubleshooting from one company router to the Orbi router was difficult. I did the same troubleshooting over and over. After talking to the technician they stated I was doing the right thing. And it wasn’t until the seventh attempt that it finally worked. After everything was set up it was easy to keep track and monitor.

It has a good speed. Transfer and receive file expected but software need improvement. It locked up sometime if the wireless devices could not network.

Easy to setup, effective system

I rent a small house with ~2,000sf footprint on a single story. My cable provider's Wi-Fi router wouldn't reach from the office on one end of the house to the bedroom TV (for streaming via Roku) or to the back porch, and signal in one bedroom was weak.
Read the reviews of the Orbi RBK50, which seemed adequate for our needs, and it's been great.
Coverage is good over the house, never experience bad signal, handoffs are seamless, etc.
Plus it was incredibly simple to setup. I think it took me 3 minutes?
