Initial experience good

The installation went smoothly and the WiFi is accessible throughout the house. I am not clear on whether there is a built-in firewall as I would expect or whether it is only available at a fee. If that is the case I will be disappointed.

I recently upgraded my internet speed with my internet provider and my old wifi router was not able to keep up. Swithed to Orbi and now have blazing speeds no matter how many devices are connected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was skeptical that the router and a single satellite would provide adequate WiFi coverage for my entire house since the router wasn't centrally located. I was pleasantly surprised that it did. I have 15 connected devices on three levels of my house, including 2 desktop computers, 3 printers, a TV Tuner, a VOIP Phone System, a Solar System Monitor, 4 smart TV's, a network hard drive, a HVAC monitor, and at at least one smart phone - and they all work flawlessly. I am truly impressed. Setup went fairly smooth but the directions were not really that straight forward. I needed to call Netgear once to help me out.
I would definitely recommend this system.
I would recommend this to a friend!
