Initial thoughts

Almost perfect for my needs. We now have excellent signal strength and huge increase in speed and range. Simple set up taking only a few minutes. My only complaint is that this unit is 3x more expense than the unit I upgraded from but it had superior parental control standard where I have to pay extra on a recurring subscription with this unit. Disappointed in that and receiving misleading marketing emails on how the parental controls are free but not the really useful ones. You have to buy the premium subscription for those but very happy with the performance itself.

I’m loving Orbit

We recently switched to Spectrum internet which caused us to look into a new WiFi router for our home. Our IT professional at work recommended the Orbit mesh system. It is an awesome system we really enjoy it in out home. It’s a huge upgrade for us.

Letting me start out by saying I am not a techy person, with that said I was able to setup and install Orbi quickly with no problems. No more dead zones in our home just safe, fast, reliable wifi. Love the tons of features like setting up a guest wifi, parental controls, and wifi pausing. It is peace of mind know that there is an added layer of security now protecting my family. Beyond Happy with the Netgear Orbi Home Mesh Wifi System!

Great coverage when not rebooting

Awesome but was rebooting multiple times per day, I am slowly changing default settings one at a time and now the unit only reboots once or less per day

great mesh system

As more neighbors installed WIFI our service became erratic. The Apple Airport Extreme was probably experiencing collisions on 2.4 Ghz. and was too slow at a distance for 5 Ghz. The two Orbi hubs completely resolved the problem, and each had plenty of USB ports to make connecting other devices more convenient.

Great coverage, easy to set up

It was very easy to set up. Also adding satellites was very easy, just click of a button. The only thing that I did not like was any configuration beyond basic requires logging in to the web portal and then some things you cannot change.
