Great range & Speed

I own NETGEAR products for years and I love that the company always gets better and better products has the technology advance the orbi system gave me best results, very reliable when connecting and disconnecting the router or satellite to find the Best location they connect themselves right away the best part is the range just completed installation in a 9,000 square foot and everywhere the signal is great even at the road and the dock a few 100' away.
Remember the location of the router and Satellite is the key to a good installation.
So yes very very satisfied with this product.

For not being a technical geek, I found the setup was relatively simple. For my situation, performance was a huge jump from 38 to 71 mbps uniformly throughout my 2300 sf, 2 Story home. WiFi signal coverage was also uniform without any dead spots inside the house. The ORBI router and satellite package was a birthday/Fathers Day gift from my daughter and son-in-law to replace an apparently outdated 4 year old single device router. I'm so pleased with the ORBI and it's satellite unit. The free mobile app for my iPhone to manage the router, although not perfect, works pretty good too.

Setup was a little goofy for me, for whatever reason, but once I worked out the kinks, my connection is reliable and very fast - it is a huge improvement over my old setup. I did an enormous amount of research before buying the Orbi system. We live in a 1900 sq ft ranch and the router is in the walkout basement with the satellite unit on the main level - signal is incredibly strong throughout the house and even outside. I will likely add another satellite to boost outdoor signal when I get further away from my house but it's more than adequate right now. I highly recommend the Orbi system!

Orbi works great with xfinity

I did a lot of reading about potential problems with set up and was prepared for a real battle. I plugged in the orbi, connected to my xfinity router and the Orbi to my hardwired network switch. Everything worked, no hassel. Did not even have to put the xfinity router into bridge mode. My xFinity comes to an out building (my home office) about 60 feet from the main house. Over the years I've tried a number of range extender solutions and while they worked to some degree, the signal was always inconsistent. With the Orbi mesh network, I have full bars throughout my my 2400 sq ft house

Excellent Performance Improvement

I have an 81-year-old home with plaster walls that isn't conducive to WiFi signal penetration. I used to have a poor and intermittent connection with my multiple routers in parts of my house, particularly the kitchen. I had devices that would not maintain a stable internet connection. The Orbi installation was easy and I saw an immediate improvement in connection strength and internet speeds throughout my house. My devices no longer drop connection in the kitchen. I also finally have the ability to use a single SSID for both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Great coverage, excellent for parents!

I bought this both because we live in a multi-stories home (4 floors on a hill) and because we have 2 kids. Setup was not without its woes - the manual was not accurate in terms of how long we should wait for the satellite to pair, also what the lights meant, but with a little patience it all worked out. Now we've got very high speed access throughout our home, and thanks to Circle by Disney (paid :( ) we have very fine grained control over bedtime, YouTube time, etc.
Overall I highly recommend this unit - Circle can be even used for free if you don't mind the more limited control options.

Simple and Powerful

Before Orbi, I was growing more and more frustrated with all the wireless devices in my life and their ever-growing demand for bandwidth and secure connections to the internet. I was on the verge of hiring a network expert to create a unified system for my home and was prepared to spend whatever it took. With Orbi, everything I own is now connected and my guests can have their own wi-fi network, to boot. Orbi was literally easier to set-up than any of the devices connected through it. Now I have high-speed wi-fi everywhere in my house and garage with no dead spots. Thanks Netgear and Amazon.

Effective upgrade

I got the Orbi RBK50 to upgrade my home WiFi. I have my service entrance away from my work area and the built in switch/router made it possible to network some devices that had been only for personal use, like printer and NAS. The added range has expanded my network into the park across the street and down the block in both directions. I am concerned about the added radiation, but the convenience is great and setup was super easy - replaced the network I was using except that I had to reconnect my Nest network. I do Airbnb, so having full coverage for my guests and family was really important.
