Super Fast, Easy to Setup, Reliable

This is my first Netgear WAP device purchase and I have to say I am overly ecstatic with the ease of setup, performance and reliability of the Orbi Mesh system. I have a 5400 sqft house and 2 devices have given me adequate coverage at 300+ mb/sec at the farthest point (15 meters) to take full advantage of my 1gb/sec broadband link. It took roughly 15 minutes to sync up the satellite, setup/update the devices and WiFi security settings. After roughly 2 weeks of use I have had no downtime or performance loss. Great Work Netgear and I will be recommending these devices to family/friends.

Great alternative to wired!

I recently moved from a house with wired CAT6 to every room. We love our new house, but a little part of me was dying inside with the lose of my beloved 1gb network. Fortunately I found Orbi and it has filled the void. With each access point (satellite or router) you can create a local wired network. After strategically placing my system I was able to provide wired connections to my printer, server and a desktop that doesn't have wifi. Speeds are good between access points, but the wire local nets are 1 gb which is where I do the heavy lifting anyway. I'm very glad I found this system!

I have been researching routers for a while, and the Netgear Orbi is what we decided to purchase. Installation took me about 20 minutes to complete. This included the time it took to download and install updates. After installation of Orbi, I tested our network. Before our Orbi, we had a Dual-Band Linksys Router, and we got around 150-180 MBs/s on our wireless devices. With the Orbi, we were getting 230-240 MBs/s with all of our wireless devices! This is including the PS4 as well. Lastly, we have a strong WiFi signal in every room of our home. We are impressed with this Netgear please!

Impressive and Stable WiFi Coverage

I did a lot of research before deciding on the Orbi WiFi system. Review after review of the stellar performance of this system made it a no-brainer. I am so glad I did. I have only had it a week now but I have not this dependable steady coverage in my home since I have had Wifi. Speeds are double what I had with my older linksys system. Every inch of my 8,000 sq.ft. home gets consistent steady signal and have not had any hiccups. This reaches beyond the house into the yard and I can access WiFi from areas I normally never could. From initial use, this is a winner. Money very well spent!

Easy to configure with amazing performance

I was needing to replace our home aging home router, and was pleased to discover the Orbi Mesh WiFi option when visiting my brother at Christmas who had recently installed his own Orbi setup, and showed off all the great features.
Once we got home, my wife and I decided that this was the route we wanted to go since it offered better coverage and performance than other options we had looked into. Once the system arrived, it was very simple to set up, provides exceptional coverage and performance. Every day I discover another feature or option that continues to improve our experience.

Best WiFi system

WiFi coverage has always been an issue living and working from a 3 story house. Tried many solutions including daisy chained Apple routers, wifi extenders and most recently TP-Link Deco. Deco (3 unit) was easy to set up and worked fairly well. But I got Orbi to try and see if it would improve upload speed. I got 3 Orbi package (1 router and 2 satellites: 1 for each floor) and they are super fast. Pretty easy to set up. I set them a week ago and I am very impressed with it. Tri-Band technology is not a gimmick. You can always add additional satellites if you need a wider coverage.

Works great!

This was an upgrade to our Nighthawk AC1900 which we had for about 4 years and worked with no issues. But recently I got couple of outdoor nest cameras installed on the opposite sides of the house and signal strength was not enough anymore. Orbi setup was pretty simple but I couldn't make one of further positioned satellite connect to the router at first. After firmware was updated everything worked right away! Very happy with signal strength. There's 16 devices on our network that includes 4 TVs streaming Netflix/YouTube TV and together 4 nest cameras and everything works flawlessly.

Great product

I tried a few different routers for our 2 story house, but none gave the outcome I was looking for. So my first attempt with a mesh networks was Velop by Linksys. Their product constantly had issues and also didn't provide enough eithernet ports for use. I finally settled on Orbi and it's truly been the best choice. It doesn't sacrifice speed to talk to the satellite device, all our house has consistent fast spees. it also has more than enough eithernet ports, and it covers our entire house even to our separated garage. I would recommend this Orbi mesh system to all my friends and family.
