Excellent purchase.

I was a little skeptical ordering at first, but read the reviews and decided to try it. Saw a BIG difference not only in speed on my PC's, but also in the speed at which my ROKU TVs opened up and connected to my network. The ORBI was worth every penny I paid for it. Note, I was not sure if I should buy the 2300 with three units or the 3000 with two units. Reviews on the 3000 were great so I bought that model and I am very pleased. I have 2500 sq feet and the coverage throughout the entire house is excellent.Would recommend to anyone having speed issues on their WIFI network!

Best Upgrade

I recently upgraded my router from a Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC300 Tri-Band and 2 extenders to the Orbi RBR50 and it has been a night and day difference. Every evening while surfing the web on our mobile devices we would have to turn off our wifi and use our mobile data to do anything. The Orbi solved that and we're getting the higher end of the broadband speeds we've been paying for no matter where we are in the house. I now have a single network and the Orbi app controls everything. I couldn't be happier and would recommend this to anyone with a 2500 sq ft home or larger.

Never buffers

I have been using routers from other companies and they always seemed to not work when I need them too or they would not work sufficiently. I started looking online and decided to try out the Orbi. I have a fairly big house on a plot of 2 acres. I am happy to say I have never had to deal with any buffers or network loss for the last 5 months. Even if there ever is a problem I can instantly go on the orbi app on my phone and it let's me know which router is not working. The guest making features are one of the many great features on the app which is why I love the Orbi RBR50.

Fast and impressive

I bought the Orbi AC3000 system to replace a network of access points that I manually configured to cover my whole house. I have gigabit fiber service to my house, but noticed the former APs were preventing me from achieving full speed. The Orbis are extremely easy to setup and provide excellent coverage. I used the satellite AP to provide fast wired connectivity to a remote office upstairs since the satellite communicates to the router via a dedicated backhaul channel. Much better throughput to that office now. Wireless coverage is flawless. I highly recommend this product!

Finally have coverage!

For years, we've been using the Apple Time Capsule with Aiport Extreme extenders throughout our home. We have a very large home and our WiFi was never had good coverage. My son complained constantly that it was difficult to play games in the far end of our home where our game room was located. We switched to Netgear Orbi high performance AC3000 and the difference is amazing! Our WiFi coverage throughout the whole house is amazing! And because of the great coverage, we removed all our cable boxes and replaced them with Roku devices, which saves us money on our cable bill!

Solved our WiFi problems

This past year we moved into a house that is 5,700 sf. We were having problems getting WiFi both to our upstairs and basement. I purchased a couple WiFi repeaters which didn't really help. I've also been turning my house into a smart house with 6 Alexa's, Nest, Ring, lighting, garage opener etc. I was having WiFi connection issues to my garage, my ring doorbell, security cameras and lighting outside. This has solved all of those issues. The set up was super easy and intuitive. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a better WiFi experience, especially a larger house.

Orbi ac3000 review

I bought a netgear orbi ac3000 version because our 500mb wifi router had a short range and wouldnt connect well in many places in my house. We have 6 security cameras, wifi thermostat, wifi smoke detector and 14 wifi light bulbs...so I figured we should have good connections everywhere. I am amazed how well orbi worked. We can connect everywhere in the house and in my yard now. Also, the connections are 300mb-350mb better in some places in the house too. I'm super impressed.
Plus, the tech is better than in the velop and google wifi...so we wont need to upgrade for 10 years!

Simple. Powerful.

Fast setup, with a long, powerful range in an older (1940's) ~4000 sq. ft. multi level home. We have anywhere from 12-15 devices connected including 3 Apple TV consoles and 4 Arlo cameras. With 1gig internet in the house, the Orbi works surprisingly well in all areas of the home with no dead spots. I teste Velop for a week and it wasn't anywhere near the speeds of Orbi, and was more complicated to set up. Without Orbi, we were limited to the room with the modem, and two rooms nearby on the same floor. It's worth trying if you want or need fast WiFi throughout your home.
