Excellent for large home

We have a large home built in 1872 with thick walls made with plaster and lath. Prior to purchasing the Orbi units we had a wireless router and range extender. That system worked OK, but the range was lacking and when family was home to visit and several devices were using the network it slowed considerably. The Orbi works far better with a stronger signal, better range and multiple devices don't slow it down. Setup was also easy and I like both the smartphone app as well as being able to sign on with my laptop. I wish we had purchased this far earlier. A real winner!

Great system

Needed something that would provide both speed and coverage.
I checked out several and settled on the Orbi.
I purchased. New modem along with the Orbi.
Set up was a snap got the new modem on line effortlessly pluged the Orbi in and it was almost like it installed by it's self.
It did take a while to get everything readded to the network but went flawlessly.
Coverage has been great the speed is was good as I get on a direct connection about 120-135 Mbps.
Have not had any problems since installation.
If you are looking for speed and easy set check this system out

Orbis are the best!!

Love the simplistic design (kinda adorable). Very quick and easy to setup. The box is easy to open. Neat packaging inside. The range is absolutely INSANE. The satellite hub is literally a Wi-Fi extender on steroids. My most favorite part is how these Orbis are mobile friendly. I am able to adjust my Wi-Fi settings remotely within the Orbi app on my iPhone. The UI is incredible and very smooth. Nothing too advanced but just enough to suit me well. The only con I have is why haven't I gotten these babies sooner! I am very satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend it

Fix A Lot of WiFi Issues

We have a 60 Mbps DSL connection. Before Orbi, we used a router and an extender. So, we had multiple networks running at various speeds. The extender would also loose connection and had to be constantly reset. And to print, you had to choose the right network with the printer. My family would always complain.
With Orbi, we now one network at full speed throughout our two story house house, the backyard, the front yard and garage. Multiple laptops, phones with wifi calling, multiple devices streaming video and music, and two printers all working together. It's great!

Easy and fast

I received my new Orbi router and satelite, and it took me about 20 minutes to unpack and set everything up. I turned my cable wifi off, plugged the main unit into the ethernet on the cable modem, and fired up the Orbi, renaming wifi network and password to match the cable wifi. My satellite just worked, no setup required. All my devices connected without a hitch and I was getting over 300Mbps across my entire house (even where there had been dead spots before). It was not cheap, but well worth it to have a reliable high performance network across the entire property.

No more dead spots in the house!

We live in a 3,400 sq ft two-story house. Our previous router struggled to provide adequate coverage at the far corners of the house. Unfortunately, our family room was in an area with spotty coverage and that's where we streamed music and movies. After doing my research we decided to jump in and purchase the Orbi AC3000 system with 2 satellites. Yes, it was probably overkill for our property, but we can get great coverage inside AND outside of the home. Set up was quick and easy plus we like the ability to turn on and off WiFi access to individual devices. Take the plunge!

Get the most from your internet

Very impressed with this WiFi system! Was previously using a single router that was experiencing dead zones, need for reboots every morning and performance kept degrading as we added more connected devices to our home. Setup was so simple with the app, I was online within minutes and saw a 30%+ increase in my speed, even my hardwired devices and full bars everywhere I go, even outside. The tech site reviews were correct and i'm convinced this is the best choice for larger homes at the moment. For reference we have 17+ devices connected at any given time in a 5500 SqFt home.

Simple to setup, yet very capable

It took less than 10 minutes to have toe Orbi and Satellite up and running. I may decide to add another Satellite due to the Plaster with Metal Mesh Walls in our home that have a partial Faraday Effect. If I were to add a feature in addition to the ability to block unused devices temporarily, it would be a way to determine how much data each device is using on it's own. I have two Fire sticks and a Chromecast Dongle and I would love to see how much data they use when "Idle". The Chromecast especially with it's continuous slide show running seems like it might be a data hog.
