NETGEAR ORBI REVIEW

I live in an old (80 years) house and have searched for years to find a reliable router for my house. I have quite a useless collection. My efforts were a total failure. The reception was weak, intermittent, or not at all. I'm talking 24 hours a day. Then a Spectrum technical advisor said he had a similar problem which he solved with the ORBI system. At first I was surprised by the cost but decided if it worked IT WOULD BE WORTH IT. Guess what! It works and hasn't missed a byte! I cannot offer a higher recommendation!!!!! THANK YOU, NETGEAR!!!

Home WiFi must have

I used my ISP router WiFi with a Linksys range extender before this. Not only was the speed in the extended area poor (properly positioned in addition to the main router), but also our devices, when moving around the house, would hang on to one SSID while already being in an area where it would be better to switch to the unit now closer. After years of living with this frustration, we finally have a WiFi solution that works. Full coverage in our 3 story (incl basement) L- shaped home. The speeds tested the same anywhere in the house. A+! Well done Netgear!

Orbi setup

I purchased the Orbi AC3000 model because I have an office, a 2 story house, and a cottage served by wifi. I tried using 3 different routers, and there was always a conflict. When I went to set up the Orbi, I had a computer consultant friend (familiar with wifi) do the install. It took 1.5 hours (due to the layout), and worked perfectly from the start. The signal strength is terrific, and my bandwidth issues have disappeared. I am so happy with it, and the consultant tells me he is going to buy an Orbi for his house. Now that is a good recommendation!

Definitely worth the money

I was using a wifi extender in the middle of my house but still was having buffering issues. I have 8-9 devices on wifi running all the time and wanted something that would provide good speeds. I am not an IT person and am not real techy but dud alot of research before deciding to try the Orbi AC3000. My house is not that big but wanted coverage for the backyard as well.
I will say I love my Orbi. I sm getting higher speeds than my FIOS router was giving me. No more buffering. No drops. This is one of the best wifi routers out there and worth every penney.

Major upgrade

I recently upgraded my FiOS to gigabit and found the wireless performance of the built-in modem lacking. after performing some research I settled on the orbi mesh Network and couldn't have been more pleased with my purchase. My coverage is amazing literally down to the end of my driveway and the speeds coming from my network are also amazing. Having be available hard wire ports also help support my 4k TV speeds and the app shows for easy setup and control over my whole system. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to substantially upgrade their Wireless!

Orbi RBK50 and Netgear Cable Modem (CM1000-100NAS)

Netgear Cable Modem (CM1000-100NAS). I had Xfinity installed and the wireless speeds were what was promised except the coverage was dismal. Now after my Netgear purchases my speeds and wireless coverage are excellent inside and outside, and I was able to return their cable modem so no more monthly rental. The installation was very straight forward, did not require a lot of computer knowledge and was not time consuming. I would recommend these products.

Orbi RBK50

I recently changed my ISP and received a less than stellar WiFi router. I couldn't go farther than 20 feet and the signal would drop. Growing frustrated, I researched and purchased the Orbi RBK50 2 pack. How satisfying it is to have a dependable signal throughout the house. I liked it so much, I purchased an additional satellite to gain complete coverage in my house. I couldn't be happier than most newlywed couples. The signal strength is amazing and no loss of latency. I highly recommend the Orbi system. Don't second guess yourself, buy it now!!

It's perfect.

After a lot of research and finally deciding between Google WiFi or Netgear Orbi, we purchased Orbi. Orbi is simply faster, better made and has not failed our brandwidth needy home once. The extra Ethernet ports are actually a nice necessity as it allowed us to configure perferials with reliability. The WiFi reach and speed is simply the best. The additional service, Circle is great and worth the subscription. Seriously. I still spend more on coffee. Overall Netgear is the standard and looking forward to see how they can continue to improve the product line.
