As advertised working great

The AC3000 has to upgrade itself when installed, that was the scariest part. Based on experience with the AC2200, not all satellites make it through that experience, but in my case, and with two installations of the AC3000, the systems came through like a champ. Incredibly faster Wi-Fi speeds vs the old Apple Airports, hate to admit it because Apple has served me well. But the reviews on wire cutter were correct and the system installed relatively painlessly (there are always hiccups, won't go into them here) and I'm a happy owner. You will be also.

Tremendous Improvement

I've been using this two node orbit mesh Wi-Fi system for several weeks. It took a little longer to set up than I expected, but not because it was difficult, it just took longer I thought it would. The improvement in range has been better than I expected, and was the main reason for my purchase. What I didn't expect was the drastic improvement in speed, especially for the smart blu-ray device which is now connected via wire to the satellite node. My video streaming is now 8 times faster. I'm very pleased and only wish I would have made the switch sooner.

Works like a champ!

I live in a historic home with thick walls covered in plaster. I had to install multiple routers throughout my home and would continually have to reconnect as I went from room to room. The Orbi has fixed my problem, not only is the signal strong, I get faster internet while I seamlessly move from room to room. No more switching internets throughout the house... I even purchased a wireless in ground sprinkler controller installed in my basement and it picks up Orbi with no problem. Worth every penny, the mesh network is the way to go, highly recommended.

Better than the rest

I have owned just about every major brand of router throughout the years... the Netgear Orbi is the absolute best hands down. My wife and I's home has around 40 network connected devices at any given time and the 'other' guys routers would struggle to keep up. We decided on an upgrade so after days of research, we landed on the Orbi RBK50. I wish I had bought it sooner! It's been the most pleasant experience I've ever encountered with a router on our decently large home network. I have and will continue to recommend the Netgear Orbi to anyone.

Finally a WiFi system that is reliable.

I have been hasten about buying this WiFi system. First the price is high, second some of the reviews I been reading on this product, and third was myself buying this product because of all of the other products out there. Had it for a month now and it's been awesome. The speeds I get over wifi and the ability to walk around my house with the signal strength always strong. It work great with AT&T fiber. Love this product and in the future I will buy a extra satellite to expand the signal further outside. Thanks Orbi for one less problem to think about.

Best device

Wifi is a limited technology. Most routers that are provided by your service provider don't have the power to push your wifi signal where you need it. I live in a decent size house and have never been able to get my wifi to our bedroom. Some days we could stream, but most days it wasn't worth it. I bought the Orbi hoping it would be all that was promised. I can happily say that it is. I have my full download speeds to all four corners of my property, with no degradation in speed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a wifi extender.

Fast, Simple and Works Right

This was an upgrade from my basic modem/router combination which had convinced me that I had network problems and that Wi-Fi had to be rebooted and fussed with constantly in order to work.The Orbi changed all that! My house is small but my old modem still couldn't cover it. Orbi connects everywhere in the house and into the yard. It has worked two weeks without once dropping out or needing to be restarted. Everything works and it's fast, there's no buffering or freeze-ups.This thing is simple to set up and works perfectly. Now I see why people love Wi-Fi!

Best mesh wifi for non-techies

I've had the Orbi mesh network running in my parents house for almost a year now.
Prior to this I was having to constantly reboot their router whenever there was a problem, and the signal quality in the house was abysmal.
That all changed with the Orbi. The signal with the main router and one pod spreads through the whole house with no drops or infrequent disconnects. It updates automatically and I've yet to have to physically disconnect and reboot it. The few times there's been a problem, I was able to remotely reboot it and the problem was solved.
