We installed our Orbi and instantly were wowed. We suffered like most from differing download speeds throughout our house. Not anymore, we are now enjoying top speeds everywhere in our house. We have about 2500 sqf house and the speed is the same wherever I run a speed check.
Setup was a little difficult but after update it ran smoothly. Use the app and you will be up in no time. We run 4 smartphones 3 streaming TVs and 2 computers with no degradation.
Yes we spent more but oh the joy when not hearing why is the internet so slow.

Amazing

I had a high performance dual band router and two extenders in a 3500 square foot two level home running 200 meg download speed from my provider and had nothing but complaints. With this new Orbi RBK50 system...all my troubles went away.
I consistently show 178-180 meg download speed at all times now and that's from my cell phone.
We have over 15 devices running over this unit and it's been awesome.
No more switching WiFi connections from router to extender 1 or extender 2 while roaming the house.
One connection no matter where I go!

Netgear RBK50 Review

I decided to upgrade my Verizon gateway router to this AWESOME system and I'm so glad I did. I used to have 1 bar of signal strength on the opposite side of my house. All of my devices used to have issues connecting near the opposite end. I setup the Satellite 1 room away from the blackout spot and now I have full signal strength. No need to connect to a different router, no cables, nothing. So easy to install and you manage everything out of the easy to use app. I'd recommend this to everyone having trouble with extended signal problems.

Excellent wifi solution

We have about a 3000 square foot home. the Orbi system did the trick for us. Our cable comes in on the far end of our house, and we've had to use a standard wireless router with an extender. No more. Full power, great speed, on all under one router name to sign in on. To the people having doubts about getting older devices on Orbi, we have a Wink 1 hub, and some older tablets. All of them picked up and connected to the router, even though the Wink hub is 2.4 only. I would highly recommend buying this system as a solution to your wi-fi woe's.

Best Mesh router out there

This router has some impressive signal strength. I replaced a ASUS AC1900 with this system with doubts it could match the performance of the ASUS. It is amazingly fast with the tri band, while still having great options of control and fine settings. I only needed 1 satellite for my home since it is 3200 sq ft.
My only issue is getting Circle with Disney to open. It says I need a firmware update from the Cirlce app, but the router is up to date. Not a big deal to me.
If you are on the fence, try this great system. You won't be disappointed.

Fantasticness in a small package

The orbi is fantastic, I am pulling about 350 - 380 mgs a second over wifi on my phone.
I still have some testing to do but so far it has checked all the boxes in my list.
I tent to have drop out every so often but I can usually fix within a few minutes but I think it's more of a signal through wall issue.
I have my video game hard wired into the orbi satellite and it's blazing fast, I just wish it was as fast as the wifi speeds on my phone.
Overall it's a great product and I will recommend to anyone looking to improve the home internet speeds.

Absolutely Fantastic Product

My home has three floors and I have tried everything on the market to enable WiFi around the entire house - nothing worked. We moved the router upstairs and downstairs and in this room and that room. We bought a better router and then a best router. We bought an extender and then a better extender. Nothing helped.....until we bit the bullet and purchased Orbi. Instant success. Easy to set up and streaming quality WiFi anywhere in our home. This should have been the first purchase - no question. Worth EVERY penny. Would recommend to anyone.

Unbelievable!

I have gig speed in my home so I bought the google WiFi system with 3 points. It worked ok but the speed varied dramatically and I never got over 120 mbs. After about a month I kept having to reset it and the speeds were terrible (not to mention only one LAN port). I sold my google and tried the nighthawk but it didn't quite have the range so I returned it for the Orbi. I have 2 orbi's and they work great. I get 400 to 500 mbs 1 room away and 360 to 400 mbs 2 rooms away. Setup was easy and I have no complaints. Best WiFi system I've ever had.
