Amazing router

I bought this router not really knowing what it was capible of doing, just kept hearing that they are the best. Well my stock router from spectrum wasn't doing as promised so I figured I'd give it a shot. I know have the best WiFi connection I've ever seen in my entire life. I have a home security that requires WiFi and use it for all our devices and streaming and it never ever fails. NO MORE BUFFERING! Thanks Netgear for creating such a perfect product that not only looks amazing but performs nothing short of amazing too!!!

We live in a "very" rural area with a WiFi download speed that is laughable ranging 1.5 mbps give or mostly take. The previous router and booster....s, we tried never maintained a signal as we also have a large home and utilize 3 floors. Using the Netgear Orbi 3 piece system (router and 2 boosters) has been wonderful. Even with our poor signal, we maintain connectivity for TVs, computers, phone, tablet and security devices. We can't say enough about Netgear Orbi and highly recommend it to anyone struggling with boosting a poor signal.

One word.....Awesome

Purchased a 2 unit Orbi, and a 3 unit Google home system. Had multiple issues with Google. No issues what so ever with Orbi. Additionally, with only two units, I have nearly full signal in every room of our nearly 5,000 sq foot home. Also good signal while in the garage, drive way, front lawn and back deck. Testing a full 100MB up and down in every room. I could not be any happier. Highly recommend to anyone needs full coverage throughout a large space for streaming on multiple TVs (7) 3 cells, and a couple tablets without slowdowns.

I have a 4500 sf home and have used WiFi extenders to improve my coverage with no real success. I was told about the NetGear whole home system and immediately read the reviews to gain understanding. I purchased the mesh system the next day and had it installed up and running in about 20 minutes. Coverage is great and the ability to hard wire multiple devices was a bonus. We have over 8 devices connected at anytime with no service issues at all. Great next generation product and I highly recommend. Best advice I have received in years.

Orbi 3000

This system is amazing. My cable comes into my house at one end. At the other extreme end (3,000 sq ft) I used to have little or no WiFi. I have 120 mbs where it comes in with Ethernet. Now at the other end of the house (with Orbi 3000) I have the same 120 mbs WiFi. Even further away in my garage with my 'smart' Chamberlain garage opener I have 110 mbs. Absolutely amazing since I used to have a wireless router with 2 additional extenders and the best I could do was 25 mbs. I strongly recommend this system. (Router and 2 satellites)

Robust Mesh Router

The Orbi is a very easy to use and reliable router. The set up was intuitive and took just minutes. I bought the Orbi to replace the TP-Link deco system. The downside of the Deco was that it required constant communication with TP-link for the router to function, which would get interrupted on frequent occasions by the cable modem. Since I've switched to the Orbi I've had no issues and have fast reliable internet. I pay for fiber 1000/1000 and see WiFi speeds near 300-400 for multiple devices. I am very satisfied with this router.

No dead zones, no drop outs!

The internet connection in our home comes into the garage where we've always put the wifi router. This means that the bedrooms, which are on the far side of the house, always seemed to have weaker signals. And, in general, having to connect to the router through multiple walls degraded performance. Too many times we ended up watching buffer messages rather than our favorite shows. The Orbi has changed that. We get full bars in every corner of the house, connections are solid, and the bandwidth is available to all. Pricey, but worth it!

A Dream Come True

I tried new routers, extenders and then fell on this. I worked in IT and it's definitely not an area where I struggle but I also don't want to feel like I'm at work on an installation! This was easier than easy! My kids could have installed the Orbi and the satellite. Then, to have it work beyond your expectations? A dream. I no longer have to pay for my ISP's so called faster network as this works better! It even has parental controls built in that you can adjust from an app among other features. A solid, reliable product.
