Better extender WIFI

This was a replacement for earlier extenders and a Comcast WIFI which were not consistently providing WIFI coverage to all areas of my home. It works wonderfully giving me consistent speeds and not dropping any devices. It was easy and quick to set up, looks nice and has worked without problem since set-up. I will consider this for another site which I will need to install this type of hardware in six months. This was recommended to me by an Apple expert and he was correct as it works for all my Apple, Android, TV and PC products

Super easy to install; good coverage

They say when something seems to good to be true, it is. Not in this case. It was so easy to install. I used the same SSID as my prior network and all my home automation and regular devices just worked perfectly with no changes. When I saw my Xfinity gateway WiFi lights were flashing/broadcasting again, I thought '˜I knew this was too easy'. Turns out Comcast has a web bug, so the light flashes were '˜false positive'! It really was that easy. Everything in my garage works well and my husband's streaming doesn't break up.

Home wifi

The Netgear Orbi home mesh wifi system has been a great purchase. Our wifi no longer suffers from slow internet speed or dropped connections from anywhere on the property. Installation was simple, easy and the app work great. I have full control of who is connected to our wifi, guest wifi can easily be toggled on/off, speed check to make sure speeds are consistent, parental controls to help the littles have a moderate amount of on screen and off screen time. This is a good product and I would recommend this to friends and family.

Smooth, seamless setup

I bought the Orbi system as we have added more and more devices throughout the home, and we just needed a little better coverage throughout the house. So far it has worked great! Really smooth and easy setup, the app stepped me through everything, and all my devices hooked up immediately. I really enjoy seeing all the devices on a list that are connnected, what their signal strength is, and being able to rename them / identify their type. I think we will now be ready to cut the cable cord and switch to streaming tv successfully!

Compact but powerful

After reading the procedure, I was skeptical at first until I saw the results. I was looking for coverage and flawless operation. Although it's only been online for 7 days, this device is phenomenal. Except for my security device, the remaining 5 devices now show 5 bars of signal with no problems. Previously, the replaced router would have to be reset every day, not so with the RBK50. A bit pricy but from what I can determine this is what I've been searching for. I'm hoping for trouble free operation in the coming years.

Life-changing

A few months back, Ibuograded my internet speed to 100 Mbps, but wasn't getting anywhere near that with my old router. I would regularly get around 10-15 Mbps. If I got 20 Mbps, that was a good day. From the second I turned on the Orbi, I've been getting over 100 Mbps regularly, often around 120 Mbps. And all around the house (approx. 3,000 sq. ft.), with no dead spots and only one network name, so no switching between the upstairs network and the downstairs network. Setup was easy too. Well worth the money. I highly recommend.

We recently moved into a new home (3,800 sf) and were experiencing significant signal loss in rooms that were less than 50 ft from the router. After reading reviews from several sources, I chose the Orbi 3000. Signal loss is zero in most rooms and never more than 20% even out doors. Also, I have never had a router that was so easy to set up - basically plug it in, select a password and wait for the ring to turn blue. The range extender unit required no set up, just plug it in and wait for the ring to turn blue. Fantastic product!

Surprisingly Simple to Setup

I put off making this purchase due to fear of buyer's remorse; what if it is too difficult to set up, what if I still have dead zones, what if it can't handle all of my devices. I love it! The instructions walked me through the 5 minute setup and now I am spoiled with the ability to watch my streaming services without buffering and disconnect issues and I can see all of my connected devices on the app. I have 2 Orbi units to cover 2750 sq feet; I know, one Orbi could probably do it but we have a lot of walls. No buyer's remorse here!
