Fast and Easy

Deciding which mesh solution wifi solution to use to replace our older AC router was a hard decision. However, since we wanted 100% coverage and advanced features that other mesh systems didn't seem to offer, we decided on a two-Orbi setup. The whole system was setup in under 30 minutes, perfectly replacing our old system, just with much better coverage across the house. Additionally, all the advanced features we could ever need are available in the web app, though the mobile app provides easy setup and operation.

Great WiFi System

'‹I bought an overkill of a system because I'd rather have more range than less.I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and with the way my rooms are structured, my bedroom always has little to no connection for the 5GHz band. I'd always experience signal drops and FaceTime calls were dreadfulSince I got this, it made it perfect. The although it is not a true mesh system, I have the satellite on a wired back haul so the speeds are identical throughout the entire apartment.Updates and WiFi management is easy and fast.

Solid Performance

System was an upgrade from an Asus AC1900 router that lacked decent coverage. After two months with the Orbi, completely satisfied with the system performance and coverage. Have zero issues with configuration/setup, no dropped connections, and the admin management via the app and web client has been solid. The satellite has never dropped connection and is installed on the 2nd floor with the main router on the 1st floor. From every location in my house, I get the same bandwidth as if I were using a wired connection.

My older NETGEAR router/modem didn't reach the farthest room in our 1600 sf condo, so I read all the good reviews of this system and invested in more power. I definitely now have much better performance in every corner of the condo (72mbps down vs 25mbps at best before on our Xfinity service). The instructions, even thought meant to be simple, still read a little like tax form instructions with jargon that an older individual may not be familiar with, but the system fired up quickly and the app made testing easy.

Easy setup and great sq ft coverage

Out of the box, the router is easy to setup and upgrade the firmware. Adding satellites is easy. I have a 4000 sq ft home plus a nearby office in a barn. The mobile app to manage the devices is easy to use giving all the needed info. No longer do you have to be a network engineer to setup an extended network...worrying about IP addresses, ports, and Conflicting SSIDs. When there is a need to dig deep into these settings, traditional full feature device login access is available. Mesh networks are the way to go.

Excellent wifi coverage

I purchased the Netgear Orbi because there was one room in our home that had spotty coverage with the internet service provided router. Without Orbi, certain devices in the room did not receive a strong enough signal to connect. With Orbi, my whole home now has excellent coverage. The coverage even extends out into the yard! Set up was quick and I am pleased with the increased coverage area and device connections to Orbi. Orbi is easily managed with the app and has a guest network that is easily toggled on and off.

Amazing

So I purchased this router after about a week of researching. It came down to two routers, the Google WiFi and the Netgear Orbi. I decided on the Orbi because of the coverage and more advanced parental controls since I have two kids. The advanced parental controls (Disney Circle app) due come with a fee though which is not mentioned.
After purchasing over a month ago I have to say I'm very happy with my purchase. The setup was very easy. The parental controls work great. And the my WiFi coverage is amazing now.

Amazing speed and coverage

Had several routers, boosters and extenders earlier including nighthawk. But when it comes to wifi speed and range then orbi is the best. Best part is that i don't have to switch or select best extender, it's all automated switching. Have 300mb connection and I consistently receive 250 mb across the home....which is amazing....I only wish this is smaller in size, more flat that can be mounted on wall and have more ethernet ports. But if that's not ur concern and speed and coverage is important, then this is ur devise.
