Fast internet over entire house

I was a little skeptical as to how this would be different then just adding a range extender. Which I did at one point and results were really not much different. After getting this and setting it up which maybe took 5-10min everything was up and running flawlessly. Seriously every room has the same internet speed as if you were right next to the router. Kids used to complain about lagging on their playstations, which now they don't. All in all it was a great purchase and I wish I did it sooner.

Orbi excellent coverage

I have trying several wifi devices trying to get the needed coverage for the whole house but always was getting blind spot or signal problems with repeaters. After reading several reviews I decided to try the Orbi RBK50. My signal and blind spot coverage is over. The package I bought comes with 3 umits but currently using 2 of them and got an awesome results. You get what you pay for. I am using it in AP mode and work like a charm. Get yourself a chance to try and end your coverage problem.

Great overall product

I bought this to replace an aged router that was top of its kind when purchased. Due to the size and construct of the house and the increased demand of usage over the years, the Orbi did not disappoint. The Orbi scored well with me in all categories: ease of setup, ease of use, performance, and for my wife, aesthetically pleasing. For my kids, all they care about is the performance, and it delivers. I would recommend the product as a whole house WiFi platform for at least the next few years.

So far, so great

Went from a traditional router with a range extender to an Orbi with one satellite. Wifi speeds are literally 10x what they were.
Does take a little fiddling, though - firmware needed manual updating as the out of box firmware was too old to register the newest firmware file as valid. Had to update to the newest v1 firmware before I could update to the newest v2 firmware. And took some jiggering to get Ethernet speeds to match WiFi, once the firmware fixed the backhaul issues. Even so, five stars.

Much stronger and better WiFi coverage

We purchased the Orbi with a satellite because we were experiencing weak WiFi signals in our house even on the same floor that the Xfinity modem/router was locate. We connected our Orbi to the Xfinity modem and created a second WiFi router account. Now we get consistently strong signals both upstairs and downstairs, where the satellite is located. The Orbi signal strength is so much better that we have stopped connecting to the Xfinity router WiFi account. We are extremely pleased with results.

Works great!

We decided to finally pay the $ and try out the Orbit mesh system. We have about 3500 sq. Ft but needed better wifi in our basement where gaming is done and bedrooms are and also upstairs on the other side of our house. We were using huge amounts of data because wifi wasn't working in those areas. This system has changed all that! Our wifi works great in all corners of the house. Video games no longer lag, download speed is literally 50x's faster than before. We are very glad we made the purchase.

Investment well worth it

The Orbi system was worth the investment. I work from home and am always connected to the internet or using WiFi through my phone. This has prevented me from getting bumped through my work gateway. The speed with this is between 4-5x our old speed. The first day my wife downloaded an iTunes album in under 5 seconds. We even streamed a movie online last night through WiFi without a single buffer. It has been amazing so far and I look forward to what other home automation devices I can pair with it.

Great wifi coverage

I have had the Orbi (main unit and two satellites) set up in my house for almost one week. Not a long time by any standard, but so far so good. I live in a home with foot thick concrete walls and the wifi signal must travel past three of these walls to reach from one side of the house to the other. Past systems with extenders were not able to keep the same strength and speed. This system has good coverage in all the rooms with little or no degradation. It also has been working well with Alexa!
