Netgear OMI

I installed some wireless REOLINK security camera's to supplement my wired camera's and the signal to the camera's was so weak they we not working to my satisfaction. The signal strength meter was only lighting the first bar, I installed OMI and the signal meter is pegged. Our house is 4400 sq.ft. and the router is located in the upper left end of our home. After installing OMI you can go anywhere in the house and have a strong signal. Could not be more satisfied. Thank you for a great product.

Excellent product

I could not be more satisfied with the product thus far. I have been using the Orbi system for a couple weeks now and it has been flawless. Installation could not have been easier. The Netgear App walks you right through the process. All satellites were found quickly and were part of the network within a couple of minutes. Integration of all network devices was very smooth. I have a many smart devices in the home and all connected seamlessly. I look forward to using the product for many years.

Fantastic Set-Up & Performance

As advertised, the set-up was was both fast and painless. The router was place on the 2nd floor (in one corner) of my house with the satellite in the finished basement on the diametrically opposite corner of the house. The connection was solid (blue) from the get go within the time specifications in the setup.
As far as performance, a speed check of my upload remained the same as my XFinity router (AP); Download Mbps went from 45.60 to 164.69 (260+ % increase). The Orbi is worth every penny.

wider coverage than you think.

I've installed 1+2sat version on my house which is around 3,200 sq ft. so far tri bend works well even though i was worried about there was only automatic mode support. my ac mode capable product works with proper mode. and wifi is capable even out of the house. only concern is that coverage of each router/sat are wider than i though so my phone is still hooked on basement one when i go from there. so maybe 1 sat would be enough for the house with similar size with me if you want save some money.

Orbi AC3000 (RBK50) FTW!

I purchased the router/2 satellite combo to replace an IP installed router that just wasn't cutting it in a three bedroom, two-story home. It was centrally located upstairs but just didn't reach the downstairs living room. I Installed the Orbi base in a central upstairs room and the two satellites on opposite ends downstairs. Installation was quick and easy, without an hassles. Now, I have solid high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house, even in the garage, outside in the yard and part of the street!

So far so good

We have been using the Orbi for about 3 weeks now, and WOW, the difference is amazing! As soon as I set it up, we noticed a change. Our house is about 3500 sqft with concrete walls/floor so we have always had problems with dead spots, but no more! All of the kids can connect to their devices while my wife and I browse on our computers and there is steady bandwidth for us all. I am very impressed and would recommend the Orbi system to anyone looking to solve their home wifi issues. Thanks, Netgear!

Excellent upgrade for entire home

Our home is 2300 ft^2 and this system works incredible. The farthest reaches of the home still get 50mbps. We even get service on our back patio which is a great plus with streaming music while hanging out.
The one issue we have from time to time is when devices switch satellites. This might be a flaw in mesh networks, as I've seen it with similar systems from time to time, but it can be annoying to have to disable and re-enable on a device to get proper connectivity. Not a deal breaker though.

Great product

My 3200 sq. Ft. Home sits on 3 acres with a large outdoor area between the house and detached garage. We built a Tiki hut by the pool and wanted to be able to stream content to the TV in the Tiki Hut. Bought this along with the outdoor satellite was setup and running in less than 30 minutes now we get our full bandwidth (500 MB) all over the house, backyard and garage. The app is super easy and lets you turn on/off a guest network with a single press. Couldn't be happier, highly recommended!
