No going back...

The Orbi is amazing. I don't have the largest house at just about 2K sq ft, but we watch and stream in our finished basement which is a total concrete bunker with no coaxial/WIFI access points. The Orbi has made that fact irrelevant by blanketing my entire home in fast WIFI with no dead zones that I can find. I am paying for 150 Mbps broadband from Xfinity and everywhere in the house is getting 178 Mbps. It was a bit pricey but I'm very happy with this purchase, thank you Netgear!

Netgear - Orbi's are the best!

Netgear's Orbi Mesh routers are the best, especially for our two story home. We had another high end dual band router previously, but the signal strength to our TV's was medium at best. As we have a slew of wireless devices (phones, TV's, security, irrigation, speakers, etc.) we need a strong signal throughout our house, garage, yard. Netgear's Orbi router and satellite conquered this challenge. They have performed so well that friends and family have purchased Orbi's too.

Orbi Mesh is my new favorite router system

I updated from a Nighthawk Netgear AC1750 router that included a range extender and an wired router at the far end of my house. It is a cinder block house and had issues with getting Wifi total coverage. The Orbi has now achieved this. I no longer need the range extended and second wired router. I have the Orbi 3000 system with 2 satellites and this has given me total coverage with 1 SSID. I recommend the Orbi to anyone facing getting your Wifi coverage around your home or office.

Simple and effective

I don't need to control every aspect, I just needed fast WiFi coverage throughout my house. What amazed me most was that I planned on doing Ethernet backhaul, but I just don't see that I will need it. I'm already averaging 20-40 mbps above what I'm paying and don't have any file sharing that I would need the extra speed. I'm sad it took me so long to make this choice. Truly 2 devices are covering my house perfectly with 20+ devices connected. I couldn't be happier.

Best home investment ever!

Are you at home getting complaints from your wife or kids (or the neighbor) stealing your wi-fi? No more with this little baby. My cable company couldn't even believe how much faster this was than my existing router. The wifi coming into the house was supposed to be 300MPS, but I could only get 150 from my Linksys router. Now I'm getting over 300. This thing covers all 4000 sq feet of our home too. Even the basement. And I am sure the neighbor is happy too. Thanks Orbi...you rock!

Great performance; easy setup

On the expensive side but worth the price in my opinion. We bought it primarily due to poor coverage and penetration through our walls (~1500 sq foot). Now we have full coverage everywhere and we are getting the full 200mbps everywhere with, at times, 10+ devices connected.
The only downside is the inability to differentiate between the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, which the router does automatically, but with the overall ease and performance of everything it's just a minor annoyance.

A pleasant surprise

I live in an old brownstone apartment with brick walls that made WiFi connectivity virtually impossible. I had set up a Rube Goldberg Network involving a number of power channel connectors and extenders. Signal strength was awful and required constant re-boots and trouble shooting. The day I installed my Orbi network, my life changed. Signal strength went from spotty at 50Mbps to sing and reliable at 230+Mbps! Incredible! I never thought I'd see this day. Oh joy! Happy happy!

One of the best WiFi experience

I bought NETGEAR Orbi AC3000 recently and the installation is very easy. It was connected seamlessly with satellites. The easiest way to do is - first connect/sync the satellite first by next to the router/hub and then place it in desired location. The app is easy to use and helps you to test the speed check. I've read many reviews about the connectivity issues in ref to latest firmware, so I ignored to upgrade my Orbi and decided to keep with factory version as long it is works.
