Orbi home mesh wifi

The Orbi Home Mesh wifi system has been as reliable as I could ever imagine. It's been a game changer for our home necessities now that everything requires wifi. Living through this era with smart home tech constantly evolving then you know how important it is to be connected. The Orbi home mesh has lived up to its reputation as the best home mesh wifi out in the industry. By far my best investment because without it nothing would work. Definitely the glue to the smart home!

Best investment ever

So we have a 2 story house and we were having trouble having good wifi connection in my husbands game room upstairs. Ever since we got our Netgear Orbi the connection is amazing! Now I can't get him out of that room. It also does a very good job reaching out all the way to our gym outside which is about 100 ft away from out main house. I would definitely recommend this for anyone needing more that 3000 sq ft. I will be recommending this product to all my friends and family.

Consistent Performance

Set up the mesh system in about 10 minutes. Satellite connected automatically for me. App is actually easier to use than the Asus genie. Have about 12 devices on the network. Did not have to set up QOS settings like most routers. Wifi performance compared to my last router (Asus ROG GT5300) was a vast improvement. Last router struggled to get around 396 mbps on a 400 mbps tier (Charter Spectrum). Performance on the Orbi was anywhere from 436 to 496 mbps. Overall very happy

out with the old, in with the mesh

I was looking to fill dead wifi areas in my house. My old router just wasn't cutting it with our multitude of phones, computers,and streaming services going on all at once.(hate that dreaded spinning circle) Bought the orbi, set up was easy. The signal reached all corners of our 3000 sq. ft. house and also extended wi fi into our backyard, no easy feat at 1/3 of an acre. And the kids, they are quiet once again. No more screaming "where's the wifi." Happy family. Happy life.

Great speed and coverage

I had read great reviews of the Orbi and decided to try it as my home Wi-Fi had dead spots and slow speed. The installation was very simple, although it went much more smoothly when I used my computer instead of the Netgear app on my phone. After the installation, the satellite was quickly recognized. I now have much faster speed and coverage everywhere in my house. From my experience, the Netgear Orbi is highly recommended, works great and is exactly what I was looking for!

Fantastic! 50mbs to 600mbs

Our providers modem wasn't cutting it. Our 1gig plan was only pushing about 50mbs to where it was needed most due to the layout of our house (walls, vents, appliances, etc).
We installed Orbi and immediately was getting over 400mbs everywhere in our three story house and over 600mbs in the living room where we use it the most.
Orbi is definitely worth the investment! One of the smartest purchasing decisions we've made, just wish we made it sooner!

Great purchase

I purchased the router in the hopes that I would be able to finally get WiFi to all parts of my two story home. I can say after several days that this router and satellite have done the trick! I had previously tried different extenders and adapters and all of them left me with spots in my home without WiFi. The Orbi system has covered every corner of my home with a strong signal. It has the added benefit of including Circle which allows me to manage my children's content.

I must say I'm impressed. My house is big and the layout is very non-WIFI friendly. I purchased the Orbi Router with 1 satellite first, but that didn't have enough horsepower. I purchased a 2nd satellite and now there isn't an inch of my house without full bars. I run 5 1929x1080 WIFI cameras throughout my home with no problem, and have multiple people devices in the house throughout the day with no problems. Easy to set up and well worth the cost. Highly recommended.
