Solid WiFi Coverage

Netgear Orbi has provided a huge improvement to our home wifi. Solid coverage across and beyond our 3200 sq. ft. floorplan even with the router set at one end of the house. Consistent signal so no more drops or interruptions even with multiple, concurrent streaming computers and phones. Setup was straight forward. Just had to reconnect all hardware (phones, computers, Sonos, printer, TV) to the new Orbi router and everything was up and running in 30 minutes or so.

Never think about it!

I guess that's the best review: I never think about it. I replaced a 2009 Apple Airport Extreme that had far outlived its usefulness. I ran a speed test before I switched, just out of curiosity. After installing the Orbi (with one satellite), I reran the same speed test. Both download and upload speeds were nearly doubled! I have also dispensed with cold spots in the house, places where I would sometimes lose WiFi connectivity. Strong signals throughout now.

I was skeptical, but I knew a mesh network would be a good fit for my weirdly shaped house that has wifi dead spots. Not only does it work, but it's blazing fast, and very noticeable with 4K TV streaming. Wow. The lag and picture quality that sometimes took minutes before a show looked good is now gone. My download speed is 250% faster according to an Apple TV speed test. And I can now stream a TV show in my garage or into the farthest corners of my basement.

Netgear Orbi Review

I live in a 5800 square home. In the past 2 years I have purchased 3 expensive routers and still had dead spots through out the house . The internet company has been here 5 times without success. I read a article about Orbi and purchased it from a company that I knew would take it back if it didn't work. The ORBI is unbelievable. It took me less than 20 minutes to hook up the main rooter and 2 satellites. I don't have anymore dead spots. I highly recommend the Orbi.

Super fast!

This was an expensive purchase, but well worth it. The speeds we are getting are great. We are supposed to get 200mbs but we are getting over 235 consistently. Can't really tell about coverage yet. The place we are in is around 1900sf and honestly 1 unit is enough but I am using 2 of them. The new place we will be moving to in 6 mos will be twice as big so will see how coverage will be when I move.
Love it so far...my sling streaming tv loads so quickly now.

Netgear Orbi is outstanding

The Netgear Orbi is outstanding. Works better than I expected it to. The ability to place the included satellites in location throughout your house means no more dead zones. Having fast reliable WiFi throughout your house is important to my family. From my son gaming in the basement to my wife using her tablet in the kitchen. I can't wait to purchase and add the outdoor satellite to my Orbi system and be able to enjoy using my tablet out on the deck while I relax.

Works Great!

Thanks to Orbi I now have a single high speed network throughout my house! Before Orbi I had to use multiple network SSIDs to provide wi-fi throughout my home. Setup was a little more difficult than I had expected as the Orbi lights did not seem to do what the instructions said, but with a little effort I was able to connect the router and 2 satellites. The system works great and my phone no longer gets confused about which network to use as I move around my home.

Orbi impressed me immensely

I rent my cable modem from my provider and I had been using their built in WiFi. I would regularly lose internet connection on my tv's and on devices in my office which is pretty far from the modem. By regularly I mean multiple times daily. It's been nearly 1 week since I installed the Orbi WiFi mesh system and I have had 0 drops on any of my devices. I was so frustrated before. I am very impressed with the Orbi system. It was well worth the money I paid for it.
