Extremely User Friendly!!

Put this system in a long Ranch house approx. 1800 sq.ft. with a full basement. All other routers in the past left so many dead zones throughout the house. Once we followed in-app instructions for set up we had perfect signal throughout the house and even ran a satellite router to a detached garage for one seamless network throughout the whole property. Would definitely pro anyone currently having issues with their WiFi coverage or just looking at a new router.

Easy and Fast

My friend tried to talk me into this last year, but no I fought it and had 3 different network segments that didn't mesh or work very well.
I put in the Orbi, the Main unit on one floor and the satellite another. I could probably tweak it a little, but it works great. Full Strength everywhere and Orbi manages the 5GHZ vs 2.4GHZ traffic etc. We often have 3-4 devices plus a TV streaming and they all fly.
If you are sick of wifi issues, get the Orbi!

An outstanding product

I'm a network engineer by trade. I purchased the Orbi because it had advanced features. I knew initially I wouldn't need them but wanted to have those advanced features available. The orbi was incredibly easy to set up. My non-technical parents could have done this. For the basic WiFi in your house it was an easy plug and play. I have three extenders as well to make sure my WiFi network reaches every where I want. The Orbi discovered them and added them easily.

Great system

I've had the two tower Orbi for a week now and have had zero problems. Initial startup was fairly straight forward and easy to do. Having the router tower and satellite tower easily marked was very helpful. In my 2000~ sq/ft home I haven't noticed a dead spot. Coverage is good from the basement to the second story and even in the garage. After juggling between a single system and a mesh system I am happy I spent the extra money and just went with the Orbi.

Had my doubts on mesh systems but Netgear has made it so great that it will leave you very satisfied. I subscribe to a 1Gbs plan and I'm getting 670 Mbps down from the satellite to my iPhone! My other devices connected via Ethernet to the satellite get 700 and above download speed, that means the wireless backaul is doing an amazing job, not cutting my speeds down. Only wish the second radio was not capped at 866Mbps, wish it would support higher throughput.

Brilliant solution for a multi-story home

My house has 3 levels so it's always been difficult to get WiFi coverage at every spot. That was until I got the Orbi. Not only is the entire house now covered by Wifi signal, I also get coverage in the patio and driveway. The set-up and installation is super easy and straightforward. It took less than 20 minutes to do so. I have multiple devices connected throughout the house, including Apple Tvs, ipads, laptops, and smartphones, with no bandwith issues so far.

Solved all my wifi problems

I recently moved and with with a gigabit fiber internet connection for the new house. I bought a fancy new router, but it's an old house with thick walls and lots of nooks and crannies and, well, the signal just couldn't make to the other end of the house. All that changed once I installed my Orbi system. With one unit on each floor, BOOM! I now have incredibly fast wifi throughout both floors (typically 300-400 Mbps download AND upload). In short: it's awesome.

I have a wireless modem provided by my internet provider, but I needed additional coverage in my 2 story house. Plugged this in, followed directions, very easy. The Orbi even detected that there was another access point, and reconfigured itself appropriately. Both the main unit and the satellite have stayed connected, and stable. The speed is far better than I expected, seeing over 100mbps down and up. Very pleased with the performance and stability of the Orbi.
