Netgear Orbi AC3000 RBK50

I initially hated the pricing of the Orbi but needed something new and reliable for my church wifi which is over 5000 feet with lots of walls. After installing the Orbi I love it! Easy setup. Fast. My computer performance was much slower prior to Orbi install. I thought the computer was the issue only to find the problem was my network connection to my modem. That was a win win for me. I'm looking to buy an additional satellite unit in the near future.

Bought the Orbi setup as a replacement to my current router few weeks back and so far have been impressed with the performance. Its very easy to setup. I am getting constant speeds across the house and i am able to connect to the internet at pretty good speeds( at 70-80 mbps bases on speediest) making use of my 100mbps connection. I had reviewed other products with mesh concept am glad i selected Orbi. Have already recommended the orbit to my friends.

We purchased this product in hopes of finally finding a solution to dead spots in our home. We are so excited to have found such a great such a great product that delivers consistent speed throughout all of our home! No more sudden drops of Internet or slow loading times! After much research we narrowed it down to the Orbi system or the Nighthawk. We're very pleased to have chosen the Orbi system as we have encountered great results! Highly recommend.

Exceeded expectations

Very glad I made the move to Orbi. My old set up was a wireless router on the main floor, and wireless access points on the upper floor and basement. Switching networks based on my location was a pain. I now have better coverage using the Orbi router and a single satellite. Set up was simple with the Orbi app, and I've since used the router's Admin Console to fine tune my setup. Data rates are best I have ever seen in our home. I highly recommend.

Great WiFi system

This system was so easy to set up and has been working flawlessly for a couple of weeks now. I used to have to switch between routers and extenders, depending on where I was standing in my house. Now, its a seamless transition, and I'm getting unbelievable speeds no matter where I'm standing in my home. I haven't tried working with the parental controls yet, so can't speak to those. Guest wifi works great also. Highly recommend this system.

It Works!!!

The Orbi mesh wifi system was easy to setup and worked pretty much immediately after setup. It told me it needed a firmware update, which I did and it immediately started working again and has not skipped a beat. The mobile app really streamlined the process and has allowed for more in depth setup(guest logins) than most of the competition. Range and speed are amazing compared to my old Asus router and Netgear range extender.

Great Mesh System

In our spacious home, one router just didn't cut it. I'd get slow response times and drop outs. I then tried using an additional access point and that was even worse; when I was in the center of the home, my wifi device could not decide where to connect.
Then I got the Orbi system and all devices(including Streaming TV services) are "blazingly" fast. The Orbi was easy to set up. My only complaint is that I wish I had started with an Orbi system.

RBK50 AC3000 Review

I recently had to replace my Asus RT-68U. I decided to try a wifi mesh and decided to try the RBK50. Setup was smooth and very easy to do. I am really blown away with the speed of this and wifi range. With the router in the basement and the satellite on the first floor I have coverage all over my house. Including my patio in the back yard. The RBK50 has much more advanced options to keep most computer geeks happy compared to other mesh routers.
