Super easy setup into my existing network. Have the satellite 40 feet on the outside wall and get excellent reception upstairs, downstairs and in garage. The built in circle parental control was easy to configure to block my most kid unfriendly sites. The router configured everything by itself once I plugged it in. Having the led glow colors for non or operational is a good thing for non techies and it is a very soft dim light that doesn't offend.

I use wired backhaul, and I'll tell you it ain't pretty to get it working. Reboots are painful, don't always work and I've spent hours troubleshooting. Needless to say the firmware needs serious fixing in this regard. However, and this is a HUGE however, the wi-fi performance is absolutely phenomenal! If I could I'd give the coverage and speed 8 stars and a -3 for the pain of getting it to work. But once it's working, it's pure bliss.

I live in a 2-story house that is about 3000 sq ft. I have purchased several other expensive routers and extenders, none of which provided adequate wi-fi coverage in the house. My internet connection is on the top floor on one end of the house. With just the Orbi Router and one Satellite (placed on the first floor in the middle of the house), I get awesome wi-fi reception all over the house (and outside by the pool!) :-) So happy with this purchase!

as good as advertised

My 100-year old brick house isn't big, but the walls attenuate wifi like crazy. It took a little bit of tuning to optimize the location of the satellite, but now I have full service and great speeds everywhere--big change from needing to use LTE in the back half of my house.Setup was as easy as described and the app/software associated with the router has all the features I want.I intend to buy the same setup for my parents' house next time I visit.

Works Flawlessly

The coverage, speed and simplicity of the router system is amazing. Before purchasing this router I would constantly have dropped connection and slow data speeds that I would frequently check my connection. Since setting up my AC3000 I don't think about it any more, it just works. I get the same speed whether I'm connected to my router or in the other side of the house and on any of the 3 floors. Wish I had purchased it sooner...worth EVERY PENNY!

Great and Effective Product

Setup was extremely easy and working in a matter of minutes. Wireless coverage from the router and satellite units are very impressive.
I easily get 200mb/s sitting in my bedroom now, whereas before i was getting 3-5 with crazy latency.
Product has also been very "set it and forget it." Running for a few weeks now with no issues whatsoever, which is exactly how networking gear like this should be.
Overall, great product, i highly recommend.

No more dead zones

Prior to purchasing the RBK50, I had a fast, triband, gaming router that was fast and wonderful for May gaming setup, but didn't work in the side of my house that includes my garage or bedroom. Now with this system, I didn't lose any speed on my gaming systems and no longer have any dead zones in or around my house, all the more important since we switched from satellite to streaming our television and do a lot of watching in our bedroom at night.

Finally a plug-and-play router

Last year I purchased a router reviewed as 'best for most people' that was no better than the 8 yr old one I was replacing. This year I needed better coverage at far end of house to enable wireless streaming so I bit the bullet, paid 3x more and got an Orbi. Installation took 10x less effort and time than any other router I've had and coverage is full bars at far end of house plus backyard. So far the Orbi has been the perfect router for my needs.
