The layout of my 4800 sq ft home required my router to be on one end of the house. I needed wifi coverage to extend to a detached garage/shop on the opposite side, and all in-between. The distance was too great for the satellite to reliable connect to the master, but using a wired backhaul gave me 5 bars of coverage everywhere on the property. This is a far superior solution to the AIMesh system it replaced. Highly recommended.

Great Home WIFI

I've used the Orbi router at home for about 6 months with 1 satellite. I have about a 3000 square foot house and no router or series of AP's has given me the quality coverage throughout the house that I've gotten from Orbi. I use wifi calling on my cell phones with no issues and get no dropped signal while moving around my house. I even get great coverage out into my yard. The parental controls that come with it are also great.

Great Product!

I've tried other routers and have been wanting the Orbi. I finally broke down and spent the money and it was the best option I could have made. The mesh network give me great coverage. Like all Netgear routers I've had manages to give me top speeds. It can manage my very heavy load of connected devices, from phones, to IOTs. It comes with Circle from Disney which is a nice touch but needs a few tweaks, which I let them know.

Excellent Wifi mesh system

I've been contemplating purchasing a router for my home WiFi due to limited coverage throughout the house. I purchased the Orbi AC3000 and couldn't be happier. I now have coverage throughout my entire 2 story home I can also go to the free app on my iPhone and see what devices are connected and disconnect them from my phone if I do desire. System works flawlessly. My only wish is that I had purchased this sooner. Great product!

Fast and Reliable

I live in an apartment in a crowded city. My modem and router are in my bedroom, and my TV and stereo system are in my living room. There is a thick wall between. There are many strong Wi-Fi signals nearby. Before I bought the Orbi, I could sometimes have problems streaming audio to my home stereo. A wired connection was almost a necessity for HD video. 4K? Forget it. With the Orbi, streaming audio and video are no longer problems.

Have been having problems with dead spots in my home for years. I have tried several other methods to try to get rid of them but nothing worked. I had looked at the Orbi and several of the competing products, and finally settled on this. Set-up was quick and painless and within minutes I had no dead spots and every device showed excellent signal strength. Couldn't be happier and I will soon be adding an outdoor mesh to my network.

It solved our WiFi issue

We have been experiencing lack of Wifi in our home, due to the fact that our home is larger than what worked with our previous Netgear router and we have three people using gaming systems in their rooms making it impossible for my wife and I to enjoy wifi in our bedroom. I spoke with a NetGear salesman at a showroom and he demonstrated the Orbi Home Mesh Wifi system (RBK50). I ordered it online and it works perfect. Wifi all around!

Fast & Easy

This product works much better then I would have ever hoped. It was recommended by a close friend of mine. I had a different wireless solution but it would cut off once in a while. But since replacing it with the new Orbi product, it has perform tremendsdaly and stable. But most of all super fast speed. I have told my brother to get this product and replace the traditional wireless router he has. Thanks Netgear for a great product.
