Orbi WiFi brought my service from zero to hero!

I have consistently had issues with the internet quality in my home for the last few years with the ISP company trying several options. I finally gave up on their solutions and invested in a NETGEAR Orbi Home Mesh WiFi System (RBK50) with a base router and two satellites. The difference in up/download speeds throughout my home was significantly better. Super easy to set up and monitor on my smartphone. Thanks NETGEAR!

Really works!

I bought this on the advice of the Wirecutter review, that said it's head and shoulders above the competition, including the device that Google makes. I was replacing securify Almond router and extender, which worked, but which required my devices to switch signals.
The Orbi seems seamless -- one signal, quite strong everywhere in my three story house in Brooklyn. Took less than 10 minutes to set up. Totally easy.

I am only two weeks in from purchase and setup and happy to report that everything works excellent. The setup was actually a little more challenging then it had to be but I worked around the issues and got it online. I think the real review will come in 6-9 months when it has really been put through its paces for a long period of time. That is also when I have read of having the most problems. I am cautiously optimistic.

Orbi AC3000 RBK50 WiFi System

Figured I'd update our high end Linksys system due to some dead spots. Had my doubts about this but figured I'd give it a try. To my surprise I've got no degradation throughout the house at all. I use a wifi analyzer to check speeds and this is actually the best router I've ever had. I Put the satellite near the smart tv and wow.... Yes they're ugly but if you want speed and great connections I'd highly recommend it.

Very simple and much needed for a home

Bought this mesh setup after reading reviews and the coverage this router setup offered was very convincing. I also read that there were firmware issues but I am happy to report that the current firmware is stable and I have not had any issues so far. Best part of this system is the coverage and it's seamless transition when moving between rooms. Go for it. If you have coverage issues. Mesh system is going to help you.

Best Router, Recommended for fast WiFi!

The Orbi router is the best and I really do recommend this product especially if you have gigabit connection by Verizon or any other ISP as the signal of the WiFi can extend by a lot it covered my whole entire house from my bedroom all the way to the basement and front of the house! My house is roughly around 1,500 square feet and throughout the house I still get roughly 250 mpbs upload and download including the basement!

Just bought the Netgear Orbi and have to say it has completely made me rethink WiFi! Before the Orbi, my network was a mash up of WiFi, powerline and ethernet. The old WiFi never achieved any better than 50Mbps. My streaming boxes would buffer constantly. With the Orbi I now hit the same Internet speeds whether wired to the router or running through WiFi, plus my streaming has been rock solid! Overall I am VERY Impressed!

Coverage will never be an issue ever again.
I am able to fully enjoy the internet service that I already pay for from anywhere in my home. Basement, garage, 2nd floor apt. Full speed from anywhere, I'm talking about 4 nest thermostats, 4 piper security cameras, 3 Apple TVs at 4K. 6 phones, 3 tablets, 3 laptops, sonos. Have never had an issue. I only wish I purchased this sooner.
