Fantastic

My mac airport tower kept giving me problems, so I swapped it out for the Orbi and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Set-up took less than 10 minutes. I even made a guest network, something I always wanted to do but could never make work with the airport, in under five minutes. Couldn't have been easier. My signal never loses strength no matter what room I am in, also a first. Can't recommend this product more.

A simple way to cover the whole house.

Before, I had a patchwork system of extenders and still did not get good reliable Wi-Fi in to the far ends of my ranch-style home. I replaced all of that with a single satellite and now the Wi-Fi coverage is excellent from end to end and well and out onto the patio in back. Set up was simple and intuitive. Speeds are much improved as well. I think that this is a great way to go in updating residential Wi-Fi service.

It Works

We initially bought this as a backup to our internal wifi set up but have discovered that it actually works better than our overpriced internal system. Unfortunately, currently struggling with coverage as we work on a Motor Yacht and the metal bulkheads block out the signal. Also, one of our Orbi 50's stopped working and we replaced it with an Orbi 40, not sure if that is doing its job though. Overall, very satisfied.

We have a large two-story home, and our other (new) router, and plug-in signal amplifiers were doing nothing. Internet or streaming were spinning, spinning. So I unplugged all that, set up Orbi41, and immediately - everywhere in the house - we had plenty of signal, no spinning, no waiting. What a relief!!! So nice to have NO frustration anymore. There are four of us and seven devices. No problems at all. Thanks!!

Powerful WiFi

The Orbi Rbk50 replaced TP Link's Deco 5, which is a nice system with lots of features. However, the Orbi is a power packed WiFi penetrating lathe & plaster & brick three layer deep walls. Very nice if you're wanting to build a smart-home & connect when pulling into the driveway. And, though, the signal knocks down as it enters my metal shop building it still provides WiFi in the shop. Really impressive performance.

Orbi with Outdoor Satellite

Purchased the Orbi RBR50 and one Satellite. Setup was simple and easy and the network reach was perfect in our 2500 sf home with lots of wood and metal barriers. This setup replaced multiple routers and repeaters. The single SSID and seamless handoffs are features that really sold me. Added an Outdoor Orbi satellite to extend the network to our patio, gazebo and boat dock. It worked flawlessly. Thank you Netgear!!

Major WiFi Network Upgrade!

Our house is vintage 1939 all plaster and lathe walls...not good news with single point WiFi router. The Orbi mesh system has made a HUGE difference in coverage. We now enjoy a full strength signal throughout the entire house (and outside on the patio too). The much improved signal was especially helpful in the Home theatre with streaming. Super fast! The setup was also super easy using the Orbi app. Very pleased!!!

Works perfectly

I bought this to replace an old RBK40 router that stopped working. Installation was easy. Youtube has great instructional videos for setup. I had 2 additional satellites from my previous setup and connected them to the new router after a factory reboot. The new router seems more powerful and the system covers my entire 4,000 sq. ft. home with excellent signal strength. Not the cheapest router but in my opinion the best.
