Great for a bandwidth-hungry home.

We're a cable-cutting family with 4 Kids. Our crew is constantly online with multiple devices at the same time. Our old router could not handle the strain. I kept complaining to my internet provider but they could it find a problem. Finally I bought the Orbi in a last-ditch effort to fix the problem. From day one this puppy has been a workhorse for the family. We're up and running all the time thanks to the Orbi.

No more weak spots

This is a well designed product and works really well. We used to experience weak coverage spots in our place. I was looking up to possibly have a fiber type internet connection to solve my problem. However after installing netgear orbi I realized I may not need a fiber connection after all. when we had a number of guests over for thanksgiving and everyone could be on the WiFi at the same time - we were pleased.

AC3000 Orbi Performance

I have a 3000 square foot multi level house that had no WiFi in multiple areas of my home. Being that my house router was in my basement office I new it was time for an upgrade. After scanning through multiple reviews of routers I decided on the Orbi AC 3000. It's was the perfect choice. Set up took 15 minutes with the satellite located on another level of the hours. I now how max connectivity throughout the house.

AMAZING

I have a 3 story home that is fairly open, yet regular routers would never connect unless there was a direct line to the system. So in home wi-fi was a joke. A good friend recommended this to me,and I am so thankful because it has changed everything - my productivity, where I can sit and do work (spending more time with family) and we have the ability to have more screens used at once. I wish I had this earlier!!!!

Phenomenal product

I bought this product to replace an aging Linksys router that would intermittently reboot and would not allow full speeds for wifi. Additionally I had severe dead spots in my house which made things frustrating. The Orbi system has solved all those issues and I am able to use the full range of speed that I get through my ISP. As a avid gamer this my biggest motivator for getting this product and it did not disappoint.

Orbi HP 2 Satellite system

Easy installation and setup in less one hour. Make sure you follow the install/setup instructions step by step and download the latest firmware during setup for hassle free performance. App works great. Guest setup is fantastic. Speed is impressive and family is very happy with coverage and signal strength in our 3000 sq ft home and backyard. The system is working great since install over a month ago with no issues.

Improvement

Before Orbi, I was paying for internet speeds of 200 upload and download but wasn't getting the full potential and the router prior to orbi was only able to push out about 50 or so. Now that I have orbi and the orbi satellite I have internet speeds of 200 plus and of about 130 for places far from the router too which I find to be an impressive feat. Overall definitely worth purchasing and definitely worth the bucks!

After having the Orbi for over a year now, I have had no problems with my internet. For years I thought it was the internet that was the problem. Turns out it was the router! Not only that I also purchased the Arlo home security system and they pair perfectly together! Having the ability through the Orbi to see which devices are connected to my network makes me feel totally secure. My tech life has never been better.
