great system, all I need

I purchased a new smart tv and realized the signal in my living room was very weak, so much the tv wouldn't connect. I was suggested another mesh system but once I did a little research I thought I had a better choice, and did I ever. The Orbi has given me total home coverage, 3 fllors PLUS my outside decks, with only the 1 satellite in place plus the main router. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Solved my problems!

I had numerous coverage holes in my Wi-Fi, created by an inferior router provided by my cable company. I installed the Orbi RBK50 and my coverage problems are gone. No more disconnecting when I walk outside to my patio; no more disconnecting when I am in a room in my house far removed from the cable company's router; no more reduced speeds. Netgear never disappoints, and this product is absolutely the best!

The installation and set up was very simple. It truly requires little to no technological knowledge to get it going. The coverage and seemless transition from satellite to satellite is nothing short of amazing. The speed as to which the router operates is about 15-20mbps faster than the router provided by our internet provider. The best part is......now I don't have to attend to my wife's tech isssues.

Awesome upgrade from what we had

Our previous wi-fi network was outdated to say the least. I was able to install the Orbi mesh network in 30 minutes tops, that includes going from room to room to to plug in satellites. Very easy. Well worth the purchase, cost a little more than some of the other alternatives but the range and consistency has been worth it. I have not heard from my kids about our atrocious wi-fi since install, priceless.

Whole House Blazing Speed

Installation was straightforward based on the instructions and I had my Orbi WiFi System (Router + 2 Satellites) running in about an hour. I now have consistent and solid bandwidth on all 3 floors of my house with speeds at or near the 300 Mbps I am paying my cable service for. Excellent investment which will future-proof my home as more and more connected devices are added. Highly recommend this system.

Works good

I went through set up a couple of times trying to manually set up things to work with my existing modem/router. I finally reset and started fresh letting the Orbi app set up everything automatically. Worked like a charm. I can't bridge my old modem/router or turn off WIFI because it breaks my TV service so I just changed the name of the old WIFI and it's working great - no double NAT problems or anything.

Amazing Coverage

Have had multiple network extenders and even power line network adapters trying to have great wifi across my house. After getting Orbi my coverage is outstanding! I was able to place them on the opposite sides of the house (~2300 Sqft, 2 floors) and have full wifi coverage out even into the yard. Speeds are great and only slightly reduced from the main Orbi to the satellite. It maybe expensive, but worth it.

I went through a number of routers and extenders and could never find a great solution to my networking needs. That is until I stumbled upon the Orbi. I get full coverage without and speed loss. My main objective was to blanket the house with full speeds everywhere and nothing quite fit the bill.
The Orbi meets and exceeds my needs and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Netgear for getting this one right.
