Couldn't be any happier

After cutting cable tv because it was becoming too expensive i started streaming all the time. The router that the cable company gave me because I still use there internet service wasn't strong enough. I neede a whole house WiFi system. The Orbi did the trick. I have no connections issues any where I my house now and the speed is so much faster. I highly recommend this!!!

Excellent product

This is the first I can have good wi-fi throughout my house. In the past, I had extender, and the signal from the extender was not good. And my devices would have to switch from main router to extender depending on the where I was in the house. Now, I get very good signal wherever I go in my house without having to switch. My daughter asked why I hadn't done this sooner.

Phenomenal high performance mesh wifi router

The Netgear Orbi mesh-router system is one of the best consumer wifi routers solutions available. The two-pack kit is rated to cover 5,000 square feet, was a breeze to set up and has more range and power than almost any other router. The Orbi mesh system eliminated all wifi connection issues with my wifi cameras I had previously encountered. Orbi is the mesh router to beat.

Solid performance, great coverage & Disney Circle

Replaced an old N300 based router after moving into a larger 2 story + basement home. With the router on the main floor and the satellite on the 2nd floor (connected wirelessly) the coverage everywhere in the house is great, with fast throughput.
The inclusion of the Disney Circle parental controls + app are a great added bonus for easy filtering of content for the kids.

Should have purchased sooner

I put off buying this and suffered from spotty WiFi throughout my house. But not anymore! This system is great. Easy to install. The iPhone app was a little sketchy and wouldn't save my device names or update the firmware but as soon as I began setting up on my pc, it was great! Updated and set up all wireless devices quickly. Once completed on pc, the iPhone app was fine.

I live in an old 1900s lathe and plaster home and even my Nighthawk router couldn't get through the walls. I was not able to use internet in any rooms other than where the router was. As soon as I hooked up Orbi, I could use it everywhere with just two satellites. I tested the speed and I am getting the same speed as when I was hardwired to the router. I highly recommend it.

Excellent coverage overall

I live in a 4,200 sq ft home and the Orbi and two satellites provide great coverage and I am getting waaay better speeds then I did with my previous Airport Extreme N. I am a Mac user so it works fine with that. It took a long time to setup, things did not work out, though after resetting it and starting over it worked fine and has been for the past 2 weeks since getting it.

Easy to setup, great coverage

After considering the Linksys Velop, I ended up choosing the Netgear because of the 4 ethernet ports and USB port on the satellite. The setup process was easy, with the use of the Orbi app. Once it is setup, you can further configure it with the web GUI (like any other Netgear router). So far, I have not had any problems or a need to reboot. Speed tests show full ISP speeds.
