Best unexpected upgrade

After reading the reviews, I decided that the Orbi would best suit my growing collection of wifi controlled gadgets in my home. The set up and programming was super simple, but the best part is that my internet speeds for each device have increased so much that I don't even have to think about contacting my ISP to purchase more speed!

Fast and easy

The Orbi was super easy to set up- only took about 10 minutes and it connected easily. I gives me perfect coverage all around the house and out into the backyard with no slowing like the original wireless router does. It also has parental controls and a guest WiFi that you can use. By far the best WiFi/extender ser I have ever used!

What my family needs

Signal is always a problem for our family. My parent was not able to watch YouTube in their room tv because of that. We tried WiFi extender but it can only supply normal internet speed rather than super fast. We only have to connect to one WiFi and no more switching between 2.4 or 5ghz WiFi names because of orbi. So glad we choice orbi

Solid wifi

Replaced 3 separate routers and 3 wireline adapters with orbi and two satellites. Speeds are 4x better in the basement. Total coverage of about 5000 sq ft with one ssid. I put orbi behind Turris router for high security on the WAN side and just disabled the radios except for lte emergency backup. Works much better, orbi is awesome.

Product works incredibly well and is affordable compared to other competitors in the market. I chose Netgear because I wanted to keep the assimilation of the products in par with how well each component of my WiFi network communicates with my modem. I have the CM1000 that supports the next generation of high speed internet connection.

Perfect solution to dropouts

Orbi solves the problem of difficult WiFi homes/houses beautifully. A two story condo in a structurally heavy metal building made functioning WiFi a nightmare. Typical extenders were no help. Orbi - a router and satellite - simply blew the doors off the problem. Simple installation. Strong and clear signal with no dropouts. Period.

Excellent router

I only have the base without any satellites as our house is small but the irbi has great range, throughput, and us dead simple to set up. Thought I might need a satellite for the back bedroom or garage but didn't end up needing it where with my old router there was zero signal there, now I still get high speed and stable connections.

Finally a wireless solution that just works

Having tried several different brands and models over the years, ended up getting the Orbi 3 unit system, and it ended up being the best tech investment I've done in the last 5 years. Our WiFi network simply just works, no rebooting or dead spots. No urgent calls from family while away from home. I recommend it anyone that needs Wi-Fi.
