Powerful, with simple setup

Just installed in a 3700 sq ft two story home. I used two satellites just to be safe. I planned on using the wired LAN to each satellite, but it was not necessary. The WiFi mesh connection was great; coverage is great; all is well. I get fill signal everywhere. With my previous Google WiFi (4 access points) had spotty coverage.

Great for extending wifi range

Was struggling to get stable wifi in our bedroom from our ATT fiber connection. It was very easy to setup orbi through netgear app and both the main device connected to router and the satellite sync’d right away. speeds dramatically improved from 50 mbps to 250 mbps and had fewer drops even connecting to video meetings. Although the orbi maxes out around that speed, it’s probably not great (atleast the AC3000) for gigabit speeds. The app could use some improvements for admin settings as well but overall good for the price

I purchased my Netgear Orbi Home Mesh back in 2019 when I started working from home. Since it was connected I never had any issues, I recently had an issue with my log in credentials, I contacted chat support at a very late time, my issue was escalated and I was told I would get a call the next day. However I was contacted extremely fast, I was still with the chat representative. Both technical support agents were professional and nice. I have the tri-band and it cover my whole house.

Perfect for our family

We have an especially large house so a mesh system that is simple and covers the square footage is important. I love the controls this provides over access and option to limit content to some devices or even just turn the Wi-Fi to the PlayStation off once the kids have had enough. I get notifications any time a new device logs in to the Wi-Fi. Overall a great and easy system to use!
