So far so good

I had a tech come out to run a new line in my house and instead mentioned going with a mesh network and the Orbi system. Although it was a little pricey I have had 0 issues with it gaming and working and has not dropped connection. Overall happy with the purchase and ability to freely move my devices around with the house now without having to run new lines each time.

I have been using the Netgear Orbi for about a week. It does work well. I have 2500 sq ft home and using one Satellite. I might need one so that I get better coverage on our back porch. I do not like that I cannot force devices to the router or satellite. For some reason some of my devices are using the router even though it is further away from it than the satellite.

Reliable easy to connect

Wee we’re getting poor connectivity and unable to connect throughout our entire new home. With the Orbi home mesh system we are able to reliably connect throughout home but most of yard snd garage as well. I am a satisfied customer!

Great improvement

The Orbi has been such a great improvement for my home WiFi. I’ve had connection problems throughout the pandemic and with this in place, I finally have a stable connection. The trial of the security software has been great too. I think the combination is well worth the investment. I wish I had bought this at the beginning of the lockdown!!

Decent Features/Speed

The Orbi system provides pretty good coverage and is relatively easy to set up and maintain. The one negative I have is that if you set the system up in AP Mode, you can no longer use the Orbi mobile app to manage the system. This makes maintaining the Orbi mesh network much more difficult than it needs to be. I am hoping this is something that can be remedied with a new version of the app.

Easy setup, seamless internet throughout home

The set up instructions were well written and simple to follow. It is great to have a single wifi network in the home and the signal seem strong everywhere. (2800 sq ft, rambler with basement.)
