Best Decision for an Upgrade

I was having difficulties with my current Netgear router and extender. I wasn’t getting reception to my upstairs devices. Since changing I haven’t had an issue, really works well and I have both a PS5 and Xbox One that stream a lot.

Fast

Got the Orbi to increase my internet speed and distance. Needed it for my solar security camera on the garage. Works great. Fast and strong signal all over and around the house. Only complaint is that from time to time it just turns off. My modem will be working fine, but the Orbi randomly shuts off.

Great connection in entire house. Ranch over basement, 4000 sqft; connect with the entire house, multiple devices, streaming HD in multiple rooms, gaming, and webex meetings all at the same time.

Orbi Home Mesh WiFi Review

I have had the Orbi for over a month now and am very pleased. It is certainly an improvement over our single WiFi/Router setup in a two floor home (the lower floor is a basement). Setup was easy and straightforward, and all authorized devices on our previous network got right back on. I would (and have) recommend this to friends and colleagues.

Orbi Mesh feedback

I switched from the eero to orbi based on recommendation from a peer of mine because I was having trouble with eero throughput and connectivity. Typical family of 4 with kids in their early teens. I also perform some technical work which opens lots of ports and protocols. This is where eero would fail and everyone would loose connectivity. With Orbi I have not had this failure happen in my testing. However I am finding the grouping of users is easier in eero so I can set limits where Orbi looks like it wants to charge me for this feature, parental control.

System in home works well but will not allow Samsung phone to authenticate, forces my phone to use data at a rate never used before.
