We’ve had spotty reception from our previous WiFi set up due to our house layout. We also run a wood business out of our garage and wanted some additional coverage while working out there. This new orbi set up has been perfect and even increased our total WiFi speeds. We now have full signal on our hole property. And even down the street. Hahah. Great product, certainly worth getting to upgrade your system.

Netgear Orbi mesh

I recently bought a 2900 sq ft house and bought the mesh system to cover the three floors. In the rooms were the extenders are the signal is great. Slightly less on the other side of the house and upstairs. Over all I’m happy with the product even if the signal strength isn’t quite what I wanted. It would also be nice to switch devices off of 5G but that’s not possible as far as I can tell.

Been a longtime Netgear consumer coming from Nighthawk with range extenders. Coverage with the Orbi mesh is better for a larger house, but the inability to more easily control which band (B or G) I can associate a device to may mean this has to get returned. As an example, one Nest camera was on 2.4ghz just fine but decided to jump to 5ghz band and now is complaining about poor network connectivity. I would like to block it from getting onto the 5ghz network.

Purchased the Netgear Orbi Mesh WiFi system to get better coverage throughout the house and stopped losing connectivity. I have had it for about a month and it has worked great. It covers every foot of the house including the basement without losing signal strength.

Had to move modem and router to a back room and could not get stable connections with even an expanded. This was the purchase that proved the winner. Have had no issues .
