Solid and Flexible

I really like the ease of the ORBI, setup, it is flexible and the mesh is great, I like the wired satellite capability, no more fighting configuration issues with extenders and AP's. I have been a loyal customer of Netgear, well over 15 years and nothing has chased me away yet.

Solved WiFi distribution.

Had some weak signal areas and tried extenders. Did not care for the extra networks they created. Set up router with one satellite and was able to join my generators wi-fi with a signal strength of -36, which is as strong as possible. One network for all 9 devices. Quite pleased.

I purchased and hooked up the eero, google wifi, Orbo, and Velop. I tried every system out and intimately decided in the orbi for speed and performance. Connectivity is great as well. Very happy. Blazing wifi all over my entire house and yard. Honestly, strong wife 2 doors down. Haha

Did the job

I needed to get a Wi-Fi signal to my garage for a new car I just purchased. My connection showed up in the car as available, but never was established. The Orbi signal was the only connection that was strong enough to establish a connection. I'm also getting 247Mbps in my office. That's a nice added bonus.

Great coverage, excellent speed to wifi devices

Excellent router, a little difficult to sync with Cable modem but once setup it's rock steady. A little confusing at first using the GUI, but excellent support online forums. Only complaint so far is the router only has a built in 3 port switch, most routers have the standard 4, It required a little rewiring on my part.

Easy to set up, FAST connections, reliable!

With the app I think it took maybe 15 minutes to be updated and running! Easy to use app with instructions - there was a step where connecting with satellite didn't work right away but resetting the satellite fixed that. Connections have been consistently 300mbps down and 12mbps up on my Xfinity account which is supposed to be 250mbps up max

This is a very flexible system

The Orbi is so flexible. With the latest firmware update the satellites now can connect to each other rather than depending on the connectivity to the Base. I can walk around without losing Internet connectivity, yet when I interrogate the admin panel I find that I'm moving from one Orbi unit to another. This is the flexibility I've always wanted!

Tall house works great

We have a 2 satellite 1 router setup and it gives us great coverage over our 4 floor 6000 soft house including the garage. Very pleased with the update from my 8 year old router. Highly recommended.
Gotta make sure if you use a cable modem that has a WiFi network that it is disabled before setup as it seemed to cause some trouble with Orbi during setup.
