EASY SETUP EXCELLENT COVERAGE

DISCONNECTED INTERNET ETHERNET CABLE FROM OLD ROUTER, PLUGGED IT INTO ORBI INTERNET PORT...POWERED UP ORBI...SYNC 2 SATELLITES...LOGED INTO ORBI

CHANGED WI-FI SSID AND PASSWORD THAT CAME WITH ORBI TO SSID AND PASSWORD FROM OLD ROUTER--AND ALL ALEXA-SMARTHOME DEVICES CONNECTED TO NEW ORB ROUTER WITHOUT CHANGING ANY SETTINGS ON WI-FI DEVICESI---CONNECTED WIRED HOUSE NETWORK SWITCH/CABLE TO ORBI ETHERNET PORT ...SIMPLE.....NOTE: THERE WAS NO MODEM TO DISCONNECT/POWER OFF BEFORE CONNECTING ORBI NETWORK CABLE BECAUSE I HAVE FIBER OPTIC TERMINAL ON SIDE OF HOUSE THAT SUPPLIES COPPER WIRE ETHERNET CABLE TO THE INTERNET PORT ON THE OLD/NEW ORBI ROUTER...EXCELLENT COVERAGE 5,000 + SQ/FT

Best I've Ever Owned

The Netgear Orbi Home Mesh Wifi System (RBK50) is the best I have EVER owned!! I have been around long enough to have owned many routers and modems to know that this one is great! I've even installed wifi systems for RV parks and this thing blows me away! I was using the phone company router with wifi and it was always messing up. I was constantly re-booting the modem to get things working again. The Orbi has solved that problem and more. The reception is so much better and the speed is excellent! Setup was a breeze. I used that app and all went well the very first time! I would recommend this modem if you are looking for something with a strong signal that puts out the speed your internet provider offers!

An excellent WiFi system

I've used many Linksys routers and extenders in my House, yet I would never get the full strength singnals and speed. I was recommended by my co-worker that this is one the best system he has used. I was hesitant to spend so much money on this Netgear Orbi, but then decided to take the leap. Since the day I've installed the Orbi, I have no complaints regarding signal loss and my I am getting the full speed of my internet in every single room in my house. So far this has been my best investment in the wireless networking. If you're looking to resolve the wireless networking in your house, I highly recommend the Orbi setup in your house, and you will not regret buying this equipment. I love this Orbi.

Pleasantly Surprised

I had been putting off replacing my aging Apple Extreme Router because I was dreading the inevitable complications I would encounter in the process. Well, it turned out that I had an easier time setting up the Orbi than I sometimes have putting my legs into to correct side of my pants! Setting up the Orbi was absolutely seamless to the point that I realized how much energy and time I wasted just worrying about it!
Net gear has created an ingenious replacement/installation process that begins with a scan from your phone that launches the procedure of a flawless step-by-step walkthrough of the installation. What else can I say? Nothing; that's it! Coverage, speed and signal strength are outstanding!

Game changer: a families solution, Orbi

The Orbi AC3000 was chosen after months of searching for a new wireless solution for our house. Some major requirements were that our new router be easy and simple to set up, connect to, and reset. As well as have great range, and minimize loss over distance. There are roughly 60 connected devices in this home so being able to handle that many devices was also a priority. Many of these devices have for the first time been able to link up all together for the first time and our internet is still blazing fast. The netgear is amazingly simple to set up and have running for your whole house and all it's associated smart devices in literally under 5 minutes!
Do yourself a favor get one and don't look back!

Easy to setup. Flawless Performance.

I was sick of my old and slow router. I had extenders all over the house but all it did was confuse people with multiple SSIS's. I decided it was time to upgrade. It was a great decision. I took me 15 minutes to setup and my WiFi is the fastest I've ever seen. I have google plays all over the house, iPads, iPhones, Android tables, laptops, cameras, thermostats, WiFi speakers and other random pieces of equipment. All of these work better now than they did when I first got them. I can't explain how much better these items work! Heck, I thought one of my laptops needed to be replaced because it was so slow, now is Blazin fast. Considering that the Orbi unit more than paid for itself. I'll never go back.

Excellent system

After noticing my previous router slowing down the past few months and my data staggering while loading, I set out to find a better wireless solution for my home. All of the positive reviews led me to the Netgear Orbi system. I purchased the kit at a local box store, found some wall mounts and easily installed the components in less than an hour. Wow, what a difference! I only wish I had made the switch earlier, as it offers everything I had hoped for and more. It is completely unobtrusive and blends in seamlessly with my home's decor. The wireless performance (range and quality of signal) is outstanding. I'd highly recommend the Netgear system to others and look forward to many years of trouble-free service.

Solved Our Smart Home Problem

We had been experiencing problems with our newly purchased 'smart plugs ' in addition to slow access to our Ring doorbell. Buffering of streaming content became more frequent and ceiling fans on Bond were less responsive. We checked with our internet provider and they informed us we were getting the speed, but our router was only able to give us 60%. The modem could deliver the speed transmitted,but not the router. After installing Orbi we went from 63Mbps to 121Mbps, wow! I reconfigured all my smart devices and now we're experiencing no lost connections. This, according to my wife, means I can now open CNET and look for new smart devices. I'm a happy guy who no longer needs to reset devices every day.
