Better than good

I have accumulated a mixed bag over the years try to ensure full and fast internet coverage through-out my house. It's a two story, 3600 sq.ft. house. I was running 3 Apple Airport routers and several Powerline adapters. The coverage was fairly good, but the speeds fluctuated.
The Netgear AC3000 is a home run. The base station is set up in the study at the very front of the house. One satellite is set up in the downstairs family room (mid-way across the house) and the second satellite is set up in the upstairs loft. I supposedly have 400Mps service. The lowest speed I've clocked from the farthest reaches of the house was 384Mbps. I'm more than delighted.

Having 6 kids and all kinds of devices spread all over our large house, I have been plagued by complaints that our internet sucks for years. I always get the latest and greatest router and extenders but nothing seemed to ever be good enough. Finally, I found Orbi and after reading some of the technical specifications and reviews, this sounded like just the system that could deliver me from the comments of disappointmemt thaf had come to be all too common place. From the first day that Orbi arrived, I havent heard a single complaint from anyone in the household. I am finally free of the nagging comments and text messages. Thank you NetGear for creating my Savior, Orbi.

Finally found it...

...the mesh system I've been looking for. I had Apple Airport routers scattered all over my house for the past 5+ years and for as long as I can remember I've had issues with the internet going in and out. I finally decided to ditch the Airports and invest in the Orbi. All of the reviews I read were very positive (only downside being price), so I bought it. It took me about 20 minutes to set up, and it was extremely easy to make my new network.
Since it's been up and running I've had zero issues and my internet is incredibly fast. I reached out to support once with a question and had my answer in about 5 minutes. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I live in an older 1900 sq/ft cinder block home that has had 3 additions (all cinder blocks) over the years. So many of my interior walls are 8' cinderblock as well. Previous routers would not reach from one end to he other without adding extenders. Boy what an issue that was. I installed an Orbi about a week ago. What a difference. It covers the whole house, and then some. I even have WiFi in my barn about 40 yards from the house. So nice it's installed, no drops or lags and 50Mps signal almost everywhere. Besides my sons MMPORG and the streaming videos all at the same time just zings along. I would recommend this to everyone. Great product, easy setup.

From spotty to spectacular

I stream content to the public from my basement and had a ton of issues with router provided by my cable company. I would be in the middle of hitting a punchline on a joke or be in the middle of big unboxing moment when my connection would just flat out die. I got tired of this so i looked around for a wireless router that would solve my issues. The name ORBI came up quite a bit so i decided to give it a shot and man... I do not regret it. My connection has been awesome downstairs (router is upstairs and satellite is downstairs) and having the ability to control the wifi connection on my childs devices is great. Couldnt have asked for a better product! Great stuff guys.

After using this setup for several weeks, I can't say I've had more than a few stutters. And that's more than likely because of my ISP.
Extremely satisfied with this product, it's signal range, speed, and dependability. I have the "router" and "satellite" setup in central rooms and I get a great connection with about the same speeds(or unnoticeabley different) on my phone and laptop, out a medium distance into my yard away from the house.
If you want to save up for a good medium cost wireless setup: choose this product. At the very least, you will not regret it on a 2000 sqft property. You can add on other satellites as well for better coverage, but I didn't need one.

Orbi Nets a Winner

Best router I have owned.

I bought this as my D-Link AC3150 just wasnt performing, regardless on thr updates or the settings, no device ever got more than 54mb and thr signal was ectremely patchy. Now i live in a 3000Sq ft house on 9000 sq ft of land. Every device in my hoise registers 100mb, wherever i am in the house and i get a strong wifi signal everywhere in my yard. The bottom of my yard is 100ft from the back of my house and i still get 75mb there.
I would recommend this to anybody. Moves between the router and the satellite seamlessly, even when making a wifi call, i have never experienced an issue when moving around and switching between signals.
A must have for seemless wifi
