Easy Install, Great Performance

Being ready to replace my dated Apple Wi-Fi system, I read as much as I could on various alternatives. For some reason, my house has always been difficult to cover without at least two access points in addition to the base unit. I took the plunge and purchased what I considered the best bundle for both performamce and cost. I have 110% pleased. Installation was easy - essentially like riding a good horse - just give it it's lead and with a little guidance, allow it to do it's thing. Performance has been outstanding. Speed and stability have been rock-solid. I rarely brag on equipment or recommend it to friends, but I have with Orbi.

I generally don't write reviews but this needs special attention .I'm looking for a specific router that covers my whole home and it did exactly what it supposed to be . Installation was very smooth and all you need to do is just open their app and it will do everything . It is The easiest installation I have done . I have set the main router in the basement and the satellite on the second floor and my whole home is covered including middle floor and all My smart gadzets working smoothly without any issue. I would definitely recommend this for anybody looking for good coverage moderate to large home without any dead spots.

After Apple announced that they were discontinuing their Airport devices, I felt released to leave the ecosphere Of Apple WiFi products, where I had lived ever since they were released. Deep down, I guess I always knew that there were better options, but I admit I was an Apple snob, choosing brand name allegiance over features. Anyway, it finally came time to switch, and Orbi has been a huge upgrade! Speeds have more than doubled on my WiFi network and the parental controls features are amazing (with Disney Circle membership). I've only owned my base + 1 satellite system for less than a month, but I can say that I'm happy so far!

The RBK50 mesh performance

After years of bad internet service (dropouts,modem resets,erratic speeds varying from 60mbps to 130mbps,slow web load times and several comcast tech service calls and several equipment change outs, I had enough and purchased a netgear cm1000 modem(ready for the future) and the Orbi rbk50 mesh system

Wow what a difference!
0 problems and getting constant speeds of 178mbps (I pay for 150mbps). 12 devices connected from smart TVs, cell phones, tablets, xbox, firetv all working perfectly.
The range is incrediable getting 178mbps outside 100ft away.

Simply Awesome WIFI Mesh System

Upgraded from a traditional dual-band router to the Orbi RBK53. I finally have Wifi everywhere with over 50 devices (wifi cameras, smart wifi light switches, smart assistants, TVs and more) connected to the Orbi system. I now have speeds over wifi in much of the house (about 3800 soft) as if I am connected directly to the cable modem (250 mbps), in the remainder of the house speed exceeds 170 mbps. I got rid of my wifi extenders and PowerLINE devices as part of the move to Orbi. Instead of having 7 networks/SSIDs, I now have a single one. The setup took about 15 minutes and I am very satisfied. This is a must have. Highly recommended.

Amazing uninterrupted WiFi coverage

The Netgear Orbi WiFi was the perfect choice for us to have high speed, uninterrupted WiFi coverage throughout our house. It has never failed to provide the best service and coverage for us in every room in our home, including our front and back yard. After dealing with so many issues with our last WiFi router for so long, we only wished we had switched over to this system much earlier than we did. Such a huge difference in performance and reliability. My wife's sister and her husband were so impressed with our router, that they too purchased one for their home, as well. We highly recommend the Netgear Orbi AC3000 Tri-Band System!

NETGEAR Orbi WIFI Mesh Review

I purchased the NETGEAR Orbi AC3000 Tri-band Wi-Fi System to replace my Ubiquiti Networks AP. We were having trouble with dead spots in the house, but the Orbi WIFI Mesh fixed these. Setup was very easy using the Orbi iPhone app and took only minutes to get us up and running. We now have coverage all throughout my home including our outside deck area. We do a lot of video streaming and the Orbi system has performed exceptionally well. We are not seeing any video freezing and the quality is excellent. I would highly recommend the NETGEAR Orbi AC3000 Tri-band Wi-Fi System to anyone looking to setup a rock solid robust home WIFI network.

Great Mesh System

I previously had an Apple router, but the signal would get lost through floors in my home. After checking reviews, I decided to go with a Netgear Orbi over the Google WiFi or Velop. I am very happy with the performance of the Orbi. I am consistantly able to maintain a full speed connection throughout the home, and the latency is minimal when checked on Speedtest.
The setup did not go smoothly, but it was not that bad. If I had any questions, google was a huge help. I would strongly recommend the Orbi System.
One caveat, you can't hook up a hard drive to the USB ports on the router, it will only recognize a NAS drive.
