why I up-graded

I had a Netgear range extender which helped at the time but it was not the solution to slow streaming on my TVs. I friend suggested newer line connection from ATT and the ORBI system. When I looked for the ORBI it was the ORBI65 that kept showing up on the search. I purchased the two unit system given the size of my house. I just plugged it into the ATT router and followed the directions. Streaming is faster and the wireless signal strength to my Canon print is now 100%!!!. When the new ATT Router came it just improved it some more. Easy install and greater range make it worth the extra money. Just buy it!!!

Very Impressed!!

I was sceptical about how these would perform in my house. I tried the Google WiFi 3 pack and the Eero 3 pack and both of these devices instantly lost 2/3 of the speed as soon as I went upstairs or to the furthest corner room. Im sure this is due to the routers changing to 2.4ghz. I returned both systems and got the Netgear Orbi 3 pack and Wow, am I impressed. I get full internet speed in every corner of my house without skipping a beat. I check my speed every few days because I'm still in shock that this system is holding up. It's been a month so far using Orbi and it looks like this is a winner and here to stay!

Blown away!

For a little perspective, I'm in a 2600 sq ft home with my router at one extreme end of the house on the main floor. Previously I couldn't get consistent Wi-Fi to my bedroom on the opposite side of the house upstairs, which is why I bought this system. Seeing as this is rated for some 5000 sq ft, I suspected it should do the trick. What I didn't expect, however, was for my Wi-Fi speed to go from 80 Mbps to 210 Mbps!! Absolutely blown away by the performance. I was already using a decent aftermarket Linksys router before, so I wasn't expecting doubling my speeds. I'd recommend this set up to anyone!

Love the Orbi

I just moved and needed some serious bandwidth upgrade on my WiFi to support the multiple wireless devices I now have connected. I read reviews and comments about the Orbi so I picked it up. Best purchase I've made in the new home so far. I was always having connection issues with all of the devices the family used and now those issues are toast. The mesh WiFi in the house is great covering areas I had connectivity issues in the past. Now everything and everyone connects with no issues. And I love the parental controls and easy mobile app set up. I highly recommend the Orbi to anyone with a highly connected home!

Orbi - The Best Mesh Network System

Excellent performance covering my entire house and a large portion of my year along with an extremely easy setup. It provides great coverage with excellent speeds. I've tried 2 other mesh systems and the Orbi is the best of the bunch. The others don't compare to the speeds the Orbi provides. In addition the Orbi system provides gigabit Ethernet ports on both the router and the satellite. And the Orbi makes it easy to setup 2.4-GHz devices, such as Sonos, Smart Lights and Smart Plugs, which some systems have a problem adding to the network. the Orbi is the best and easiest system to setup for a house, small or large.

Powerful and Reliable

The Orbi RBK50 replaced my previous mesh router, which didn't work well in my 2-story home. It took about 30 minutes to install the Orbi, including firmware update. Not bad, but not as easy as hoped. The connections so far, both wired and wireless, have been fantastic. I have 150mpbs cable service, and I'm getting 180mbps in virtually every room of my house. The main router and 2 satellites are located where my previous system was, and I'm getting 4x the speed in my upper floor bedrooms than I did previously. Drop-off in a central bathroom is more significant, but still around 40mbps. I'm very happy with Orbi!

Finally can use our 600mdps service

We have a 4000 Sqft home built in 1999. Even though it was prewired for internet throughout the entire house, it only has Cat5, not Cat5e, wiring. This was great in its day but it can only handle 100 Mbps. Thus when we upgraded our services to 600 Mbps I was disappointed to find out we could not use the extra speed. Now with our Orbi, we have fantastic speeds in every corner including near the back of our 1 acre lot. Wife and I can stream music and movies everywhere, even while the kids and grandkids are streaming their games and videos. Love it, Love it, Love it. It is so simple to setup and use. Thank you Netgear.

Life saver

This product is absolutely amazing. Typical internet providers issue bottom of the barrel routers and modems. I pay for 150/150 internet speeds. Speed test indicated i was receiving 30/30. After installing the ORBI in less than 5 minutes, I now get 160/160 on average and also get WiFi calling in my garage and don't drop calls while on FaceTime. Orbi product is most definitely a great product with an easy to use app!! Everyone needs an ORBI in their life! Best of all you see all your connected devices on the Orbi app and you even have a guest WiFi available. It is well worth the money!!! Highly satisfied customer!!!
