Home network upgrade

I was in need of a home network upgrade as I got gigabit connectivity and my existing internal network was all 100M at best. A few Netgear gig switches plus an Orbi. The Orbi was a desire for high speed plus better coverage. Now I have a great network with no limitations on the internal side. Only thing I was unaware, which is my own fault, is the Disney Circle which we've grown to love is a paid subscription now and I cannot use my old Disney Circle device as it's 10/100 only.

Solved all my wifi issues

I live in a difficult house for wifi, with a two story section on one end and a long first floor with porches on the front and back. I uses an extender for a while, but I was constantly resetting it, and even then my devices had issues switching between the multiple wireless networks. Orbi completely resolved all those issues. Now I have consistent connections everywhere, and no need to register multiple wifi networks on each device. This has been a great, low hassle solution.

Great coverage & setup

Have been using Netgear products for years. Replaced a WNR2000 router and WN3000PR range extender that has served us well for the last seven years with the Orbi RBR50/RBS50 system. Wow! The speed increase and strength of coverage was immediately noticeable. Also the ease of setup is the simplest I've ever encountered. Upgrading the firmware was also a snap. With six devices accessing the internet at the same time there was no noticeable drop in internet speed. Awesome router!

Prepare to be WOW'd

Easy setup. Unbelievable distances, yes distance not square footage. The router covers my house, front yard, back yard and my entire garage. I placed the satellite in a small machine shed in side yard to extend signal to my parents house next door. Second satellite placed inside their house now blankets their entire house in WiFi. Using amazon Alexa for house to house comm's.
Combine all the features add in security from Bitdefender and Netgear has hit it outta the park.

Love it

This is my all time favorite.... I have nothing but gamers in my house and they love to play online and the router we had before was horrible it would lag or even shut down for the usuage from everyone on I live in a 1000 sq ft apartment I only hv the main router on well practically that is all I need but I hv the satellite in the bedroom just for the ps4 the uploads and downloads are AMAZING all I hv to say I am so HAPPY I purchased this it was pricey but well worth the amount

Impressive

I've had the Orbi only a week, but I'm impressed. Setup was easy and with the satellite, I've more than doubled the speed and coverage I had using an AirPort Extreme and Airport Express in a three story, 4200 sq foot house. I haven't set up a guest account yet (not expecting any company‚), but glancing at the guides and based on the ease of setup, I don't expect trouble. If you need a faster router with improved coverage, you won't be sorry if you buy the Orbi.

Should have gotten Orbi a long time ago!

I recently purchased the Orbi mesh system for my 3100 sq ft house. It only took me 10 minutes to install. I have 1 gif fiber service and was able to get 700 down and 800 up right next to the router. As I move futher from the router and satellites it drops as low as 150/150, which is still more than enough. I purchased clear wall mounts online because the units are a bit large and would waste counter space. The size is a fair tradeoff for the best performance among competitors.

Powerful and Reliable

After researching many mesh wi-fi systems and narrowing to a select few, I decided on the NetGear Orbis for their reliability and performance. I am very happy with my decision.
The only opportunity is that the initial setup through the app (which had to go out to their website and back) was a little clunky, but once everything was connected, I haven't had a single hiccup. The internet is reliable throughout the entire house, with no dead spots. I highly recommend this system.
