Easy Setup, Great Results!

This solved the WiFi issue at my local church. One half of the building had good WiFi and the other side was awful. Once we installed the Orbi RBK50, we were rocking lightning fast speeds in every corner of the building. No more unplugging our computers and walking to the other side of the building when we need to download large files. We also play our live-streamed service in our Nursing Mother's Room; no more buffering! Setup was easy, and the results are great!

Great WiFi System

First, let me say that the setup of the Orbi system is extremely easy...download the app and it walks you through everything. Once setup, which is extremely fast, management of the system is simple. The coverage is amazing...both inside and outside the house. We have all kinds of devices from security cameras, video doorbell, smart lights, tablets, game consoles, etc. And all have a much better signal. Speed is greatly improved as well. Well worth the price.

We have been trying hard to get the WiFi signal to be stronger in our basement so we can easily stream on our 70' Smart TV...why get a smart TV if you can't stream?!?! Finally, as a suggestion from a contractor installing our new modem/router, he said we couldn't go wrong with Netgear Orbi...finally, after 2 years of constant buffering, pixelated screens, etc. I'm VERY happy to announce that the Netgear Orbi totally kicks butt and solved our problems!!!!!!

NetGear ORBI setup

Not sure if other people that purchase this product had the issues I did in setup. I download the app on my phone followed the instructions and it would not connect, kept re-booting the Modem and finally it worked. The range is excellent, satellite connection took a while but they finally fell into place. Some patience and perseverance was in play, but over-all it's doing exactly what it said it would do...my wifi has never been stronger...Thanks, NetGear!!!!!!!

Solid WiFi Coverage

Netgear Orbi has provided a huge improvement to our home wifi. Solid coverage across and beyond our 3200 sq. ft. floorplan even with the router set at one end of the house. Consistent signal so no more drops or interruptions even with multiple, concurrent streaming computers and phones. Setup was straight forward. Just had to reconnect all hardware (phones, computers, Sonos, printer, TV) to the new Orbi router and everything was up and running in 30 minutes or so.

Never think about it!

I guess that's the best review: I never think about it. I replaced a 2009 Apple Airport Extreme that had far outlived its usefulness. I ran a speed test before I switched, just out of curiosity. After installing the Orbi (with one satellite), I reran the same speed test. Both download and upload speeds were nearly doubled! I have also dispensed with cold spots in the house, places where I would sometimes lose WiFi connectivity. Strong signals throughout now.

I was skeptical, but I knew a mesh network would be a good fit for my weirdly shaped house that has wifi dead spots. Not only does it work, but it's blazing fast, and very noticeable with 4K TV streaming. Wow. The lag and picture quality that sometimes took minutes before a show looked good is now gone. My download speed is 250% faster according to an Apple TV speed test. And I can now stream a TV show in my garage or into the farthest corners of my basement.

Netgear Orbi Review

I live in a 5800 square home. In the past 2 years I have purchased 3 expensive routers and still had dead spots through out the house . The internet company has been here 5 times without success. I read a article about Orbi and purchased it from a company that I knew would take it back if it didn't work. The ORBI is unbelievable. It took me less than 20 minutes to hook up the main rooter and 2 satellites. I don't have anymore dead spots. I highly recommend the Orbi.
