I bought this to replace the Dell gaming laptop I was using. This laptop runs fast, doesn't overheat, and is perfect for playing games, making games, website coding, and general internet and email use. I'm glad I bought this and hope it will last for a lot longer than my previous laptop.
I customized this laptop to handle some decently heavy programming languages and It has been easily kicking butt and running smoothly. The laptop runs deep learning programs quickly, and what used to take me 1 hour now takes me 2-3 minutes. Loving it so far.
Needed a laptop to upgrade the mini PC I use for day trading. People in my industry tend to go overboard when looking for a good computer for day trading. I day trade and production videos and other media. This laptop was the perfect solution for a reasonable price to handle all of my tasks with a breeze! I also love the design, which I would describe as professional with style. No complaints, other than the mousepad could have been a little smoother to the touch like HP's Elitebook, but I use a mouse mostly (as most gamers would) so it's not that big of a deal.
I configured this laptop for my exact needs/desires and I have not been disappointed! It's fast (faster than I need but still delightful), I love the keyboard and the quality that has kept me buying HP products for decades.
I only just got this, but it has been great so far! I had an hp pavilion before this one that has become obsolete basically. This laptop has the minimum specs for a good gaming laptop by default, and you can add some ram, storage, and upgrade the processor for a little more. It has been running great so far!
