Huge upgrade

Fine Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the new range and oven are a pleasure to work with. The oven, with all its options, is terrific. I've had a few minor issues with the range top control panel. It's quite sensitive and can get messed up sometimes. The placement of the "burners" is a bit unusual, but I'm getting used to it. Clean up is fun and easy. I use a Weiman product after every meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used this range a ton, since it's only been installed for a week, but so far I am really pleased with it. The boiling water function on the stove top works really fast. The seamless (knobless) design is very sleek and easy to clean. The oven has cooked things evenly. The reason I took away one star was because the stovetop could be laid out better with more room between the cook zones. Our pots and pans smack into one another when trying to use some of the zones. It feels like it could have been laid out better and we would have plenty of room between each pan.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No longer a natural gas lover!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a neighborhood where range cooking is limited to electricity or propane. Electricity is abysmal in terms of control and cleanup. Propane is tortoise slow. I decided to give Induction a shot and WOW! what an improvement. Once familiar with settings, I can boil water faster than in a microwave, can control cooking precisely, and there's virtually NO cooktop cleanup and pan exteriors remain brand new.
I do regret paying inadequate attention to cook surface design as I don't like that the large "burners" are in the rear. Much "splatter" cooking involves large skillets and would be easier to manage if closer to the front.

Form followed by function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is astecticly pleasing, the combination of black glass top and stainless steel is very nice. The next thing is the control panels for the stove top and the oven. They are both pleasing to the eye and easy to use. Now, the important aspect: induction heat is fantastic. I do not miss a gas stove at all. The heat is easily controlled while cooking. The oven is a pleasure to use also. Having the choice of convection or regulart heat is great. The light illuminates the area very well allowing you to see what you have in the oven. I haven't used all of the functions yet. Lastly, the warming oven, it is nice to be able to keep your food warm until you are ready to serve your meal. Buying this stove was a great decsion.
