New Bosch Dual Fuel Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of my Bosch 800 series Dual Fuel Range. For me, Dual Fuel is the only way to go. Honestly, I haven't had it long enough to use all of the cooking options, but I have been very happy with results using convection bake. I love having the fifth burner on the stove top. I especially appreciate that the stovetop surface is stainless steel; it is so much easier to clean than the black enamel surface on my previous range.
I appreciate having 3 oven racks. The "grip space" feature at the front of the rack to facilitate pulling it out is great. I also appreciate that the warming tray can be operated with foot pressure, eliminating the need to bend over to open/close.
Overall, I am very pleased. My one small criticism is that the touch panel, which is located on the front of the appliance, is super sensitive. I find myself triggering functions by mistake just while cleaning the stovetop or cooking.

My Bosch Dual Fuel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I purchased our first Bosch Dual Fuel Range in 2014 after a major kitchen remodel. We also bought two other Bosch appliances for the kitchen. My wife loved that first Range. She liked the temperature probe feature, the warming drawer, and the roasting and baking options. And, of course, the great self-cleaning feature. After seven years and a lot of daily use, a couple components began to fail. We both agreed that the Bosch Dual Fuel Range was hands down the best available, so we bought our second HDI8056U in May, 2022. We could not be happier.

Beautiful Function and Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After some research on has ranges we selected the Bosch 800 series dual fuel range for our home. The range lights easily with normal detented knobs and maintains the desired tempature making it easy to create beautiful french omelets. The electric convection oven with its higher mass internally acheivee the desired temperatures for baking and maintains that temperature throughout the oven. Surprisingly when the oven is in use there is much less heat from its use into the room than our old oven. There is warmth from the vent sufficient for rising. And the warming drawer also serves this function for smaller baked goods.

So Far, So Good

We purchased this range a couple of months ago to replace a perfectly good range except the electronic panel was no longer repairable. (We had sent it out to be repaired twice before since there was nothing wrong with the bulk of the range, just the electronics). Let's hope this one lasts longer. At this point it is working like the last range and doing a good job. I wish companies these days would worry less about electronic "bells and whistles" and actually make a quality product that will last for 30 years. I'd pay a lot more if they had a 25 year guarantee. Hopefully this range will have an electronic board that will last longer then the last one. Time will tell.

My Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how my stove is cooking and baking! It is easier to keep clean than my former stove. If I could critique a few things: The sides are too high and left a gap between my stove top and counter. The dealer gave us strips to fill the gap, but they don't work very well and sometimes food products get under the side of the stove. Also, the bottom drawer is a "push to pop open" style. This leaves fingerprints and the latch often needs to be pushed a few times before it closes.

Best range we've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally! We love our dual fuel range and the flexibility to cook with gas and bake with electricity. After years of putting up with horrible ceramic top electric ranges, we are finally in a home that has natural gas and we couldn't be happier. The convection bake and roast features produce succulent dinners and crispy and beautiful baked goods. The range is easy to use and a snap to use and looks fantastic in our new kitchen!

Slide-in dual fuel range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One thing I had forgotten about that perhaps can be beneficial to a future customer. The slide-in range is actually almost an inch too high over the countertop. We had done some remodeling which entailed replacing our kitchen floor. As a consequence the height of the countertop was reduced. An adjustable height appliance would have been greatly appreciated.
