Edge on counter top

Duel Fuel Range

Cautiously optimistic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Duel Fuel slide-in has many nice features and looks good in my kitchen. I like the clean look and it operates as expected. Here are my quibbles:
1) the stainless steel knobs are handsome, but they mount on stems that are very wiggly, which greatly detracts from the feeling of quality Bosch it reaching for with these non-plastic upgrades.
2) the cooktop is stainless steel rather a more typical enameled surface. While it looks nice clean, a single use of the cooking surface renders it filthy, requiring a wipe down after nearly every use.
3) the touchpad is under-responsive, requiring many second and third attempts to activate buttons. It is not simply due to dirty surface or fingers. This issue was quickly evident even when the oven was newly installed
4) the timer features are irritating to set, and the timer itself has an anemic tone to it.
5) it's only happened once (and I'm praying it won't happen again) but my oven turned off during a bake and flashed a Bosch service number at me a week ago. This warning only lasted a second or so (too short to write down the number or error code) and then disappeared. I've only had this oven for 2 months. Please Bosch, tell me this won't happen again.

Great product

I'm very pleased with my new dual fuel slide in range. My favorite feature is the warmer drawer, which was the deciding factor in making this purchase. The only reason I did not give this a five rating is because it's very difficult to get the fingerprints off the stainless steel. I'm constantly working to keep the range looking clean. Otherwise, it's a great product and I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

SO MUCH SPACE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The layout of the stove top really optimizes cooking space which I really appreciate. I can actually use all 5 burners which was impossible on my last range and the over top slide in design keeps everything sleek and clean. Oven is also spacious, knocking out big dinners with the multi rack convection feature. Very pleased with this purchase!

Bosch dual fuel range
