[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] thus far we feel that this wass one of the best purchases that we have ever made. we have been using this product for about a month and the only thing that we would like to see improved is the the kitchen timer. when the timer goes off the sound is so low that when the sound goes off it can not be heard unless you are right nest to the unit. if this is something that you would improve on i hope it could be an up grade to an existing unit

Bosch 800 series Dual Fuel Slide in Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this duel fuel oven. Tha gas range has 5 burners, with the center burner being the largest. It works great and is easy to clean. The electric oven is easy to operate and cooks food evenly. The oven is also very easy to clean with its self cleaning option. Love it!!

The good and the not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like most everything about the range except the fact that the control panel is very sensitive. I have to keep it locked otherwise any close contact turns it on. The surface streaks easily. My Dacor had no issues
with this.

Range. It has so many nice features that it make cooking easy. I like all the programing I can do with the oven to bake or convection cook with little effort. The gas top is great with five burners and I feel the electric oven gives me better heat control. It has a nice stainless streel finish which matches my all my other Bosch appliances. Also easy to see control pannel. Just a great product.

Not worth the money. Buy something else!!

First, allow me to say that we are really experienced cooks in our household. We got the 30" Bosch 800 Series, because of Bosch's reputation and the warming drawer. We are very disappointed. The range has a design problem, either the burners are too low, or the grates are too high, so there is too much space between the fire and your pot or pan. It takes FOREVER even to boil water. You will never get a good sizzle with this range, and you have to be REALLY PATIENT to brown chicken or meat. When it does, the meat is often already dry because it took so long to brown. The only "good burners" are the center one and the one to the right. The two small burners at the back are almost useless.
Also, bad quality control. One knob is at a lower level than the rest, and the warming drawer does not close evenly, it protrudes on one side (I have already tripped twice with it). Hope you learn from our mistake.

Overall very nice unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this stove over all. My only complaint is that when brand new, I had an issue where the touch panel was not responding consistently. I took off the front panel and wiggled all the electrical contacts and now it seems to be working well. This is why I rated 4/5 instead of 5/5.
