This immersion blender does it all. I have made salsa with this, a milkshake and even blended peanuts to peanut butter! This blender is easy to navigate and a breeze to clean. I love how light weight this tool is and how compact it is to store in my cabinet. I hope to use this product for years to come.

I use it for anything from whipping up eggs for an omelette to blending bases for soups. Well made, great attachments, solid, versatile...a great tool!

One Of The Best Out There I Have Used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They will blend shakes. They will blend soups of COOKED vegetables and as I am using tomato paste into tomato soup. There is not a whole lot of things that these are meant to do other than these things. Perhaps some powders into liquids also.
This hand blender comes in two pieces and snaps together nicely. It is easy to take apart by pressing two buttons on either side of the bottom extension. It has two blades and a scalloped edge to keep the blender from sucking to the bottom of the pan or container. The cord is about 5 feet long. The hand blender bottom is a little over 8 inches long which is as long as other blenders which claim to be bigger. The set also comes with a whisk and adapter, a cup for smoothies and mayonnaise, and a very small food processor.
What usually took me about four to five minutes to do- blending tomato paste and cooked vegetables into smooth soup, literally took under a minute with the Braun. It is powerful, very easy to use, and if you press and re-press the trigger before the five seconds are up, then you can still use the blender in pulse fashion instead of constant running of it. You don't want to use it continually more than three or four minutes, however, as it can get hot. These are not meant to be used at a constant rate, but in more of a pulse fashion.
I highly rate this hand blender set at five stars, but I would put it at 10 stars if I could. I am really glad I bought it. Very useful kitchen tool which takes the place of many other tools in a pinch. It is very well made and powerful. I would buy this again and will purchase a couple for Christmas gifts this year.

The Braun MultiQuick 5 Vario is fantastic! This multi-use kitchen tool is very easy to use, it works great, and switching between the attachments is a breeze. This set comes with the motor, a whisk attachment, a 1.5C chopper attachment, a blending attachment, a masher attachment, and beaker. The instructions for each come with both pictures and text making them very easy to understand how to use. The motor is powerful and has easy to use buttons. It also has speed options. You can choose the speed easily with the dial and also use max speed but hitting the turbo button. Each button is easy to use, the dial moves easily, the machine itself is easy to hold on to. The attachments are all really nice and easy to swap out by pressing buttons on the motor.
For blending, the blending tool is made very well, the shaft is made out of stainless steel. This tool is powerful and versatile. It blends food extremely well, and it is really fast. Using it with the turbo button works the best and the final product is smooth. I really enjoy using this attachment.
The Whisk attachment also works really well. It’s made of stainless steel. It’s easy to add and remove and whisks really well. Perfect for fast recipes that require whisking.
The masher attachment is perfect for things like mashed potatoes and squash, it’s a plastic unit so it works well on softer items.
The chopper attachment is amazing. It’s my favorite attachment. It’s also easy to use, easy to take apart, and it works really well. The bottom of the chopper cup has a rubber ring to help keep it stable on the counter. The blade is easy to insert and remove from the chopper cup. The chopping action is so great, and it makes fast work out of so many things. It’s definitely a time savor during food prep.
The beaker is also a nice added bonus with convenient measuring lines on the side.
As far as cleaning and maintenance goes, every single part of the attachments is dishwasher safe. The motor is not, but it’s easily just wiped down if it gets dirty. The chopper blade does need some oil on occasion and it’s super easy to stain (I stained mine with tomato), but it’s still perfectly functional.
All in all, this set is super nice. It’s very easy to use. It’s powerful, fast, all of the attachments are easy to add or remove, they all work well, and they are easy to care for and maintain. I would absolutely recommend it!

All around hand blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I love about this blender is it's lightweight yet still powerful and does it's job pretty well in a matter of minute or so, and it's very handy rather than using a big blender if you just want to do a single/small serving. It doesn't doesn't splatter and you can move it freely. It has couple of speed type to adjust on how much power you need. And Braun is one of my trusted brand. Never disappointed me.

So many uses!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Immersion Blender is getting so much use at my house. We've been cooking a lot more and all the features of this blender have replaced other small appliances in my kitchen! The immersion bender was great for making cashew sauce and hollandaise, and the small food processor works so much better than my other one. I've made pesto, chimichurri, hummus AND baby food for my daughter. I love that you can do so much with this and I'm able to save space in my pantry. It really is a win-win!
