Excellent beater

I bought this recently after a cheap hand mixer finally gave up the ghost. I went with Braun because it's a trustworthy brand. It works very well for whipping egg whites, heavy cream etc. It's not obnoxiously loud and has many speed settings. I love the eject button.
I do wish it came with a whisk attachment. Also I would love to be able to order an extra set of beaters for the many times you need to quickly switch from beating egg yolks to beating egg whites.

Love the speed options, the motor runs quiet, appreciate the blades having different shapes at the base so that it’s easy to identify which hole a particular blade goes in, and having a safety in the power switch so that it won’t stay on if there is no mixing blade is nice.

Great for the kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun HM5100 Multi-Mix Hand Mixer is a great appliance to have in any kitchen. This set includes the mixer, two sets of attachments and a storage bag for the attachments. The mixer is easy to set up and easy to clean. The base of the attachments are shaped differently so you can guide the attachments into the mixer slots properly. The cord has flexible positions at the mixer base, which allows use to be less rigid. The cord can be positioned so the mixer sits upright. The mixer is easy to grip and comfortable to hold. The mixer has a lot of power and it appears to mix quicker than a hand mixer we have been using. I am pleased with its quality and performance and glad to have this in our kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good mixer. It has various speed options plus a turbo speed for you to choose from. I really like that the beaters and dough hooks have different shapes; a hexagon and a circle so you will always know which goes on the left or ride side. I like that the weight of the mixer is in the front which helps keep it more in the bowl instead of you having to carry the weight while mixing. It’s not real loud which is a great. The handle has a soft grip that is comfortable in your hand. It’s cleans up easily and comes with a pouch to keep the beaters and hooks in. I am very impressed with this mixer it works very well.

On/off button

I like this mixer and love the features, especially the chopper accessory. I will say the only thing I don’t like about this mixer is you have to hold the on/off button in the on position while mixing, if you let go it stops. It’s inconvenient while mixing things that take some time, when you could let go and not hold into it. That so far is my only complaint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried many a hand mixer over years and have been disappointed, and this is the first one to meet my picky standards. The hand hold is very comfortable - no slippage in the grip, and not too heavy or so light that it kicks back. The beaters are very easy to put in and take out, and are made well - not flimsy in the least. I used this on cake batter as well as bread dough to test out both sets of attachments and was quite pleased with the results of both, as they mixed efficiently without any issue. The settings are easy to change without ingredients flying about the kitchen. Overall a very nice mixer and I would recommend to anyone.

Amazing power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a basic mixer that would stand the test of time so I went with this model. It seems to be fantastic! It definitely out mixes my last mixer. It is so quiet and, the dials are easy to use, it has a variety of settings and doesn’t sling food everywhere I’m so happy to have found such a wonderful quality mixer. I am also excited to learn that I can buy attachments for it!! It’s really so much more than a standard mixer. My only complaints are that it is heavy compared to my old one BUT It is a lot more powerful as well so it’s a good trade off. They included a great little storage bag for the beaters I WISH it would have been a little larger so I could have put the whole mixer in there lol over all this mixer is definitely a keeper!

Powerful mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this mixer from the power to the size. This mixer has several different settings and can handle anything from whipping eggs to making a loaf of bread. The lengths of the whisks and dough hooks are superb! They are much longer than my previous one's, and allow me to mix more batter without having to worry about getting the batter all over the mixers body. I do wish that this had a hard case to store everything, but the power more than makes up for that.
